Dayak to be kept poor for ease of control
Written by Dyaks
That’s how the ignorant, ill-informed and brain-dead Dayaks will keep BN relevant.
Dayak are kept ignorant by BN
These groups of Dayaks, mostly rural dwellers, constitute 80% of all Dayaks statewide. The reason why state Dayak BN MPs, ADUNs are getting their votes got nothing to do with so-called fantasy politic of development but it just that BN bonking, humping on Dayaks’ sheer ignorance, being ill-informed and being brain-dead stupid of how phony and dopey BN actually for all these 50 years to them and basically just make this to happen: kept these Dayaks poor for ease of control. “Ketuanan Rasuah” made Dayaks just another delivery boy?
Posted by Dr. John Brian Anthony
This article is written by Dyaks in response to one of the topic in dayakbaru.com. The ideas presented in the article are interesting and the arguments are candid, the way we should present our thoughts so that others would understand our views better. Just in case you missed the article written as a response, it is now highlighted as a stand alone.
More well argued response will be converted to stand alone articles for the benefit of many. – (Editor)

From Sex Maniacs psychopaths to conferred Titles Datuk Gambir
Wonderful greetings for you Dayaks. Finally you got your title Datuk Gambir. Yes, that sex stimulants that prolong your ejaculations. And yes, from sex maniacs psychopaths to your own son the spoilt brat that got nothing to do with Sarawak other than self-glorifying purposes summed up just how nonsensically phony is the whole concept of titles being conferred.
In Fact Dayak (Ministers) are just Delivery Boys for …T…..?
Some people still live in the past Victorian-era looneys, while some people worried with the economic doom and gloom by the same sick maniacs that try to evaporate our pension money into thin air but horrifically Datuk Gambirship being awarded for appreciation. When you think about Dr.John’s concern on Dayak standings, what kind of appreciation needed for Dayaks when in fact Dayaks are just delivery boys?
Can we change this situation? Yes! Read more

Chinese schools is Dayaks’ sole education alternative
Written by Dyaks
Dato Seri Tiong – to teach Dayak to plant padi!
Wonderful greeting from Dayaks. Humid and hot weather indeed. Another hard day work for most our rural Dayak folks in planting paddy now. Another day to wait for Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing to teach our dear farmers about the latest farming technology from Taiwan. Sad joke, Apai Tiong!. You should enjoy yourself strolling around the fetish red lights streets in Kaohshiung there having hot bath with Hsu Chi, not some farming stuffs.
Taiwan is Malaysian Chinese Top Educational Destination
Betel nuts aside, Taiwan is one of the top destinations for Malaysian Chinese students completing their studies. These students merely sneaking to enjoy Taiwan’s top universities which is highly stock up with American inputs. Years of technical-war with mainland China means indirectly heavy U.S. presence in their policy, especially in military prowess and of course their education system. Their base of technological and intelligence advancement lies in their universities only for mainland China to play catch-up. Read more

Digging Malaysia Racial Past
Posted by Dr. John Brian Anthony
The MALAY AGENDA is so severe that fellow bumiputera like Dayak is even pushed aside to make way for the Malay-UMNOputera to exert their dominance over Malaysia economy through NEP/NDP. We Dayak are now suffering from such Malay Agenda and we have Dayak leaders who do not seemed to know what to do in such a case. We Dayak elected leaders but now it seems never made it to any level of effective leadership. No wonder so many young Dayak detest Dayak current dayak political leaders due to their inability to steer Dayak community towards meaningful development and not the “give-away MRP” encouraging Dayak “helplessness” mentality.
The article below is written by Philip, and to add to Philip view, the Dayak soldiers were instrumental in bringing down the riots by being impartial. The older generation of Chinese and Indian would appreciate that asthe Malay dominated security forces were not effective at that point in time. The Dayak were also involved in fighting communist in Malaya, where the Dayak soldiers excel and earned for themselves “bravery award” but given no “title”for their effort. Would it be easier to swim the English channel and get your Datukship compared to facing your armed and well-trained enemy and motivated to kill you for their ideology? For Dayak to ponder – where is justice? Read more

Dayak – way of thinking forward
Posted by Dr. John Brian Anthony
It now become important that we shape our way of thinking forward in order to make progress for the community and less dependent on politician for direction and leadership. When our politician are having “low class mentality” and ” personal integrity bought over” by the good life provided by Taib, our community tend to suffer deeply as we are deprived of progressive agenda and the rich become richer while the poor Dayak gets poorer. These are just some thoughts. Read more

Now who says Dayak’s poverty is not by design?
Posted by Dr. John Brian Anthony
Seliong ak Wau writes in response to my article titled: Dayak Earned $59.00 in 10 Years.
“I cannot avoid looking at that Temenggong 19 hectares of land from investment view-point. Let’s look at some simple calculations.
1. How much did SALCRA value Mr. Temenggong’s land 10 years ago? We put a conservative RM5,000 per acre. So 19 hectares x 2.47 acres = 46.93 acres. Total value RM234,650. Instead of SALCRA, Mr. Temenggong took the money and placed it under ASB with 12.5% returns each year.
Today the value would be RM761,983. (CMPD, PV=234,650, i=12.5%, n=10, FV=?)

“SALCRA – Such A Low, Crappy Returns Annually!”
Posted by Dr. John Brian Anthony
This topic is a feedback by Dyaks to my earlier topic of “Dayak earned $59.00 in 10 years” from Salcra land development project. It is important for dayakbaru readers to understand the context of Dyak point of view and put our understanding of Saclra Land Development into proper perspective. Tan Sri Jabu is the Chairman of Salcra and Salcra is under the Ministry headed by Dr. James Masing. Why Jabu still heads Saclra is anybody guess but Jabu track record of bringing better economic life to Salcra land owners is dismaying.
Dyak Feedbacks
Morning, morning my fellow Dayaks. You read it right there: SALCRA-Such A Low, Crappy Returns Annually! Rightly noted by Dr.John, the return on this fantasy plantation scheme is close to nothing per acre NCR lands by Dayak landowners. Many other sites calculated a low returns as well despite the almost-artifically high price of CPO. Where the rest of the profits gone? Now with current CPO price plummeted down to sub RM1K-RM2 per tonne, how low the returns per acre could be? Unsolved mystery yet again. Read more

Where do Dayak Stand Now in Malaysia?

Low Intake of Dayak in Civil Service
We have discussed earlier about the low numbers of Dayak serving in the Civil Service. Does the low number of Dayak in civil service reflect their incompetencies, lack of qualification or is the government of Barisan Nasional with UMNO as a dominant force forget that Dayak is also a bumiputera as stated in the Federal Constitution under clause 153.
Does the government application form that require Dayak to fill in their race under “lain lain” affect their job application chances.(The detail of Dayak application and success rate is found under response to the earlier article of “Not Enough Dayak in the Civil Service”. Read more

How to handle unruly children
Posted by Dr. John Brian Anthony
Here is how you can take charge and regain control of your unruly children.
For some people regarding discipline and their children, it feels like they just wake up one day and things are out of control, but that is usually not the case. There is a process involved that leads us to that point, and we get there much more quickly than we care to admit.
Children Test Us Parents!
Our children live to test us. They began doing so almost at birth: ‘if I cry long enough will I get what I want’, ‘if I say “pleeeeease” just a few dozen more times will they break?’. It is our job as parents to be consistent. Each and every time we cave, we lose just a little bit more of our status as the one in the position of authority. Read more

Dayak earning $59.00 in 10 Years
Posted by Dr. John Brian Anthony
How can that be?
It makes my meeting a particular YB worth while when he shared with me that his uncle just got a share dividend of $59.00 from Salcra after 10 years over three hectares of land that was planted with palm oil. This dividend was given out a few weeks ago.
The YB said he refused to join any government etc organization or person to promote land for palm oil planting anymore. It is not giving the promised return of investment and will never contribute to improve Dayak living standard. At $59.00 for 10 years, or $5.90 a year there is no reason to surrender your land for Salcra to develop. Also is can be translated to less than $1.00 earn per year per acre for the land owner. What great investment scheme is that? Read more

Teach your child to read aloud
Posted by Dr. John Brian Anthony
Teach your child to read aloud. This article discussed about the importance of reading aloud to your child during early years and up. In my parenting talks I often stressed that reading should be a natural habit as it broaden the child information based and drawing learning from the experience of others through his/her reading.
Read to your baby
So many times new parents hear people say, “Your baby does not know what you are saying, why bother reading to them as such a young age? It is such a waste of time.” The answer is simple. Though your child does not understand the contents of the book you are reading to them, this does not mean they are not learning. It is quite the contrary. They are learning how to pay attention, as well as different voice tones. Babies also love the sound of their parent’s voice, be it reading a book or carrying on conversations. If you take advantage of this early on, it will become part of your baby’s routine they will love right along with taking a bath every night or singing lullabies. Read more
