It is hot in Batang Ai but at least the crowd is not as big at the day before and on actual nomination day. It was hard to find a place to sit and have food. Now there are more space and campaigners are moving around purposefully carrying out their daily task. The task of upkeeping the banners and posters. When tired or thirsty they would sit around coffeeshop and once a while they dwell on issues on the current by-election.
The issue that was discussed by several BN campaigners was can a West Malaysian party like PKR acceptable by Sarawakian. The discussion started well enough until a BN senior men came and told his campaigners that they listen too much to Opposition political argument and that they should stop questioning BN government Ministers message because it is the truth and the whole truth. “Don’t ever doubt our Ministers wisdom and intelligence ” he said “otherwise how do you all think that BN is the government all these 46 years”.
Why is PKR West Malaysia and BN not from West Malaysia?
One elderly BN campaigner has been explaining that the similarity of PKR and BN is that both are West Malaysia based. He said UMNO is the backbone of BN and it is a West Malaysia based party. They went to Sabah but it is still a West Malaysia party. If BN is acceptable to Sarawakian the same should apply to PKR because of their similarity.
PKR is Opposition
The same old man has explained that at Federal level Pakatan Rayaat is Opposition – Anwar is Opposition Chief but at State level it forms government in 5 States he said. So in the 5 States he said BN is Opposition. So in Sarawak it depends he said on the term of reference used – PKR effort to get into power in Sarawak is a State level category effort.
I was impressed that the old man of Batang Ai was so well informed and has articulated his knowledge very well.
So why are you with BN?
A young man in the group asked him why he is with BN – he explained that the Tuai Rumah in his long house has selected him to be part of the BN campaign team. The old man confided that many in his long house are in the same situation but instead of disagreeing with the Tuai Rumah they just follow his instruction. The young man added that his situation is also similar.
The young man – his name is Minggu said that he is PRS member. As PRS member his PRS Lubok Antu Committee has assigned him to work in the BN campaign team. Minggu is not going to vote for BN. BN has failed to listen to PRS grass root members recommendation of a candidate. He wanted to go along with the BN campaign team to “protect” his brother – who is a teacher from being harassed by BN people.
Dr. Masing selling PRS to Jabu – PBB
It is Minggu’s opinion that Dr James is selling out PRS to PBB. Mussen is an unknown, a PBB man and is detach from the people. Mussen can’t even speak well in public. Tan Sri Jabu is in Batang Ai to ensure that Mussen win – but why not PRS President – Dr. James. It seems that Dr. James is made the Election Director but has no power to make arrangement on the ground. He is being kept in Kuching.
Jabu is using all PBB people with some help from PRS and very little from SPDP Minggu said.He observed that BN campaign is not very smooth among the coalition partner. But then he said, many people of Batang Ai do not like Jabu. “I cannot see how BN can say that BN will win easily in Batang Ai” Minggu said.
Will the Instant Noodel Project help BN objective to win
“Batang Ai is not as stupid as what BN perceived them to be” said the old man. The young educated people and those working outside of Batang Ai has little choice but to work outside Lubok Antu as there is no job opportunity in Lubok Antu itself. These young workers has been communicating with their families and relatives about the progress in other States – Selangor, Johor and country like Singapore.
Those project is only “to make us feel good and BN hope to fool us for some more years”.
Conclusion
But those BN Instant Noodles are very dangerous as it is an effort to prolong the discrimination of Sarawak and the marginalization of the natives.
PKR is a viable alternative and with a strong team with good management background and industry experience PKR can bring better progress for Sarawak. PKR is untested but its performance in Selangor is well above expectation. This can also happen in sarawak in due time.

I have said many times in many messages that BA folks are no more as how and what BN is thinking they are? BN has totally underestimated the new mentality of BA people
Your above mentioned characters are typical of what current situation is like today in BA & N29. People with or without voting papers in hands, are in the great majority of VOTING OUT BN-SARAWAK, TAIB, JABU & JAMES MASING
Days into the campaigning, the same old “ASI BARI” -spoiled rice of BN is getting less influencial in the hearts of majority voters. Many may be in BN shirts and caps, their hearts have already voted PKR-Jawah Gerang
PKR-Jawah will win by beautiful majority on BN-PBB(PRS?)
One reminder, tell PKR teams to watch on mysterious “betting” favoring PKR; this could be the trick of BN and some old expired Chinese politicians like that tact very much. “To be careful is better than to be careless” – every vote counts
I agree with you John by saying that JJM is selling PRS to Jabu – PBB.
If you aware, one of the candidate proposer – Jampi- is son of Datu Tutong – one of the PBB man in LA since long2 time eventhough most of his time were spent in Kuching – ask people in Tapang Pungga/Kelampo story about this family.. Tutong is long time dead..
but John, the bottom line is, be it PBB or PRS or any BN components, the goal is to give them some lessons-tell the voters to vote em out. Finish!
Let them (the arrogant pengulus and counsellors) back to their old life..

What will happen IF PKR wins the by-election?
1. BN leaders will be shocked baka kena earthquake 9 Richter scale. That will be the 1st win by-election in Iban majority DUN, another time was in Bintulu, Kidurong, chinese majority.
2. PRS & PBB relations will be severed. leaders from the 2 parties will make accusation against one another of the wrong tactics used during campaign.
3. All the projects that had been announced / promised by the BN will be CANCELLED
4. BN government agencies officers will scrutinize every dayak application for tender, jobs, entry into Universities.
5. Community leaders that openly support BN will be sacked.
The good stories:
1. PKR leaders & supporters will be in jubilant mood until the next state election.
2. Some of PRS & other BN supporters may switch camp to PKR. The sympathizers definitely join PKR.
3. Dayak intelluctuals especially the bloggers will give thank to Bill Gates for timely invention of ICT products. That means the blogs able to play some roles passing the right information to rural folks
4. BN will never underestimate Dayaks’ principle and ideology in politics that anybody can win the election in Iban majority area on DACIN ticket.
5. Leaders of PKR will be amazed by the maturity and unity of Iban in modern politics. “Change they have”. Rural folks are now able to differentiate madu & racun. Udah nemu hak diri, ngambi taju remaong ukai reti puni!
6. Anwar Ibrahim will use or tranfer more resources from the west to east in preparation for the next state election and PRU13
7. More Chinese will support PKR. They can trust Ibans, nadai ulih ditipu BN ngena gula batu agi.
8. Malays might follow suit in support of PKR. Enti enda sida ga tingal.
9. Melanau ke ukai crony Taib will support PKR
10. Ujung2 JJM sr..tepeliur kena jayau PKR. Ka ke enda PKR nerima?
Dog will remain a dog
PKR will win by 600 votes. This will start the wave of sweeping away BN in the next election. As a Malay, with PKR win in B Ai, will create an gravitational pull for young Malays to join PKR in Sarawak. If JJM was famous for his slogan Lets do it in Sarawak, now Lets start with Btang Ai
IF BN wins the by-election:
1. BN takes ALL: the people trust, wealth, power, judiciary, police, everything they wish to do.
2. BN will do the same tricks in every election, give instant noodles when required for them to remain in power
3. BN will reapply the divide and rule tactics for the Dayaks
4. BN will recontruct & reinforce their forts and increase the barrier so that no generation can shake their foundation.
5. Rural folks will never trust the PKR in any election. They always make a reference to this by-election. They prefer to play save. Ikut BN saja.
6. PKR spirit to govern the state will eventually wilt. Lose steam
7. Community leaders who openly supported BN, the periuk will sejuk.
8. The worst thing to happen, PKR leaders and the campaigners will desert the BA voters, leave them alone. Sinu ga sida ke udah nyukung PKR, ngigit jari aja enti BN victimize them
9. Anwar will be stunt and disbelieved, tusah ka percaya ke Iban, sigi agi TAKLUK ke perintah BN
10. State PKR leaders will blame one another. Jawah Gerang will be haunted by his failure till he loses all his teeth. Dr. John will come back to his base in KL with squared face, the disgruntled fighter. JC just feel relieve, his PIP business will flourish. That will compliment an compensate for his last minute pull out. Nicholas ?
11. Just wait and see how serious BN keep/ deliver their promises made during the campaign

The day of reckoning is near. Dayak leaders in BN know their days are numbered and their demi god or demi dog, Taib is finished. The political tsunami sweeping across the south china sea to land of the hornbill is unstoppable. Bakun dam will” burst” with a new dawn of dayakism that will spell the beginning of the end to the zionist melanau empire.
Vote PKR and Jawah Gerang. Hidup ketuanan rakyat.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a blogger living and working in KL and I have been blogging since 2006. Currently I have a daily average readership of 3,500 readers. (Unique hits, not pageloads). I am also Iban and Dayak. It pains me to see my people suffering the injustice of 45 years of BN rule. I have therefore decided to do what little I can to bring awareness to my readers.

Apoo Mr Manager, manah amat blog dek. Kati bisi meda sida ukoi jelu hasong ngeruboh rumah Bawin suba unggal laban gambar nya baka ke dambi nuan empu. Keep up Unggal. Gasakka dia ga unggal, coz blogging is one of the ways to convey the message/opinion to the people but there are many rural folks who maybe buta IT. Well, we can also go on ground to reach these people effectively. Arapka nuan ngaga leka lagu perangsang dayak/iban dulu din meh. Anang balat ka ngaga lagu pengerindu, mabok chinta, unggal. Lagi nyau tekesai bulu siga ninga wording lagu leboh bisi meda indu daha bisi mansa ba mua neh!

I recommend you all to vote independence, just like Ibrahim Ali, you can see in Parliment he can f** both PR / BN with out any fear or favour.
