Campaigning gathering momentum in Batang Ai

BN is now pushing harder
BN using all the “government resources” they have is pushing harder into Batang Ai. The military intelligence and Police Intelligence are working hard to identify the strong hold of PKR and also identifying the grey areas. Then BN will send their Ministers and cook Instant Noodles plus cash as voters incentive. This BN approach is very effective because it is all “SEGERA”.
What has BN done to Tuai Rumah in Batang Ai
The Tuai Rumah of Batang Ai was taken to Hilton Batang Ai resort and spent their nights there. While In Batang Ai resort, BN gave each attending Tuai Rumah $1000.00 ringgit each for their initial expenses.
Meaning – more money will be given to the Tuai Rumah for himself and for his distribution to his anembiak 2 days or the night before polling. This is when Dayakbaru should move in to Batang Ai and stay in every long house to hold the PKR voters together.
It is now obvious that BN is going to give minimum $500 per voter or even a $1000 to each family in Batang Ai. PKR cannot compete with BN on money but we must not allow BN to use the ill gotten money to win. If BN win they will take more Dayak land to pay back their money invested in the by-election.
What is the rating today?
Batang Ai support has now swing slightly in favor of BN – a 5% lead. But the margin of error is also about 5%.
The Radio and TV is creating a lot of impact in the rural areas. Dayakbaru need to explain the situation presented by Main Stream Media to them.
The Councilors and Penghulu team are holding on to their respective area to rebut any PKR accusation from the campaigning team. These BN Dayak Community leaders has been given unlimited budget to arrange for food and drinks for the longhouse. lorry loads of food are ordered directly from kuching, Sri Aman and Betong on a daily basis.
What do PKR need to do?
PKR need more Dayakbaru to go to the long houses as volunteers and talk to the voters.
The team who are meeting the voters with message from PKR are working very hard on a daily basis. The process is slow but with more help more could be achieved.
We also found out that more PR EXCO – and PR YBs should come to Batang Ai as BN Ministers are coming in greater numbers. They are covering the areas thoroughly.
Now Jawah is going upstream to campaign and Bawin is going down stream. We need to constantly look at the close to town area.

All Dayakbaru – please be prepared to help in Batang Ai. We should be moving in on the 5th April. Another announcement would be made – to give you our assembly point and to distribute our team to all the areas. the PKR local Operation room will help us to identify the area that we should go to.
I am appealing to all Dayakbaru – the BN money tactic is serious. The 4 MACC officers who are supposed to be in Lubok Antu is now not effective. They have been detained but released from Badau by the Indonesian authority without cash and other personal items.
Why they are in Badau is easy to guess – there are prostitutes in Badau and these MACC officers are looking for “young flesh” not “corruption practices”.

The intensity of BN propaganda already come to almost peak. Yesterday TV1 non stop one after another telling series of lies. The ‘illegal’ MB of Perak keep repeating the same script and very obvious on his face – no honesty on the whole episode.
Whilst, I salute my old friend a lecturer from Unimas yesterday for came out with a good comments on UMNO wish to enter Sarawak!
