   The rural Dayaks are not smart because BN doesn’t want to be, so that, they can be manipulated easily. The Dayak politicians also advise them to follow their footsteps – following the BN leaders who want all the chunks of development for themselves.

   They are also told they can’t survive without those monsters in power and that’s why one particular politician always says “Yang dikasihi/Yang disayangi/Yang….”

   Iban intellectuals must wake up and shake the rural Ibans from their deep slumber. In the next election, we must work together to ensure all the outdated Dayak politicians are wiped out.

   JJM & DPJ are not relevant anymore..they are a loyal ‘Dog’ to CM.They can’t speak for the Dayaks Community.They only bother about their own interest and their own cronies. For most BN’s leaders, power means MONEY & GET RICH..they are using the development agenda to blind the people especially the rural people which is lack of political awareness.Not like an urban dayak community like us,the rural dayak especially an iban community can be easily be tricked by those irresponsible and dirty leader.That’s why, JJM & DPJ are afraid that these people(urban & new generation of intellectual dayaks) will influence the rural people to fight against the BN corrupted regime. Datuk Patinggi Alfred Jabu has already become ‘Afraid’ Jabu..
   The new generation of dayaks today are mostly educated and they are aware of the dirty politic of BN.So,they can’t be cheated..We will be the dayak baru..To JJM and DPJ,just retired from politic because both of you are useless in the eyes of the iban people.We want new leader..New leader mean a NEW HOPE..i urges all my dayak friends to unite together to spread the spirit of the NEW DAYAK..
   To Dr. John,i’m happy with your work..Let us be smarter than JJM. For me JJM is not smart.in other word,he’s stupid dog of CM.

   I think to be fair to Dr James, he does try to help as many Dayaks/Ibans as possible, just that he is sometimes not having the final words. He idea of supporting the Government projects, the development drives for the Dayaks/Ibans, etc. is good. In fact we should have more allocation, greater frequencies and speedily implementation.

   However, his comments on pushing the blames to the “Inciters & Dayak Intellectuals” cannot be accepted because the Ibans/Dayaks have been supporting the Government since independent yet they are lagging behind. The lagging behind is due to the Government lacked seriousness in helping the biggest no. of Malaysian minority bumiputras.

   I am hoping that our leaders such as Dr James would stop the many false arguments that have infested our community for ages. It’s time to do what you can for the Ibans/Dayaks and if you can’t then better off say nothing. It’s time to be sincere and less petty with other anxious Dayaks such as Dr John Brian.

   If it is not due to their egos they can just admit it they don’t have the time and resources to develope our dayak community needs, can’t they just ask us the dayakbaru for assistant in each field, i’m pretty sure there are willing individual come forward to offer their service but don’t mix it with politics as we might not share the same policy…but only on delivering the common goals to help the rural folks in doing things & thinking smartly in every aspects be it in kids education, agriculture, business etc…

   As the dayakbaru have the pool of expertise, skills, knowledge on various fields that can benefits the dayak.

   Why should we support them in he first place, since we were oppressed by our own people.
   Where is the spirit of true patriotism towards our own community???

    These leaders will never ever willing to work together with dayakbaru as they are ‘AFRAID” that their real intentions will be exposed.

    They even encourage the tuai rumah @ penghulu not to allow NGOs’ or “opposition” to come to their longhouses.

    So, the only way is to get rid of these imcompetence leaders. They DO NOT want and CANNOT lead our community. They only think about their own families and cronies.

    SDNU you should the main platform for Dayak to united, compromise, love each other and not smearing with each other. You should the body to take care the Dayak Right both from BN and opposition, your are the Dayak safeguate.

    Dr. JJM and Dr. JB shall not smearing each other openly. Malu kitai peda orang bukai bakatu belaya diri sama diri. Becherege orang pandai sama pandai, orang dipebasa sama dipebasa kitai Dayak. Ketawa bansa bukai ke kitai. STOP. Enti bisi utai ke enda puas ati giga orang tengah lalu berandau kebukai anang ba SDNU, ba surat khabar ba mua orang maioh. Anang ngaga munsuh ngagai pangan diri.     I really respect your good intention concerning this matter. However,the arguments that were being put forward in this blog, somehow, woke someone who have been sleeping for decades.

    All these while, we don’t have any appropriate media to voice our community’s sufferings.So, it is good that somebody realize that we do exist to rebutt any UNFAIR or “STUPID” statements made by our so called PARAMOUNT LEADERS.

    No offence, but different people have different approach when responding to certain issues.

    Some people tend to use harsh approach, while others feel that they should use moderate or even become a mediator when it comes to dealing with issues or statements. However,what most of us have in common is that we don’t want to see or hear any unjustice toward our community.

    JJM himself is one of the culprits causing the absence of this so-called ‘smartness.’ Look at what happened to many ‘mosquito parties’ in Sarawak. They themselves have no leadership and yet blame those rural folks looking for trusted leader.

    Take note that leadership involves influence; it is concerned with how the leader affects followers. Influence is the ‘sine qua non of leadership.’

    JJM – please stop your misleading media statement because you had no influence. Do you know that? Without influence, your leadership does not exist. Dot!

    You have done a good job for highlighting the sufferings of the dayaks not only in the scope of poverty but education too. Young generation of dayaks now are thinking dayaks. We are not easily influenced by politicians who always brand the simple dayaks communities as what the Iban politicians had mentioned lately. All those politicians are seasoned politicians who only good at lip service and bad mouthting others and his own community. Stop doing it, move forward and fullfil the promises that you had promised in Batang Ai. Build road to Kapit and Tar-sealed the roads linking all longhouses in Batang Ai areas, Giat Mara, hospital, bank and connect electricity, communication connection towers, mini hydro, diesel powered generators to the rural populace of Lubok Antu. All these are your promises before the By Election.

    Indeed the Government should speed up that Kapit/Kenowit road, ka tembu da ga utia tu, kitai meda ari kapit udah jauh datai kili, ari Song udah jauh ga kulu/kili, ari Kenowit udah jauh kulu…what needed now is to connect all the roads up…yes please – tar sealed!

    Sigi amat nya. Urang Kanowit(tanah kanan mudik)/Song/Kapit/Balleh mesti aggressive in pressuring for the link road. Enti enda aggressive sampai 50 taun agi pan nadai mih jalai nya. People in this contituencies disunited a lot due to many ‘mosquito parties.’ What once was the strongest bastion of PBDS when the party in coalition, so those areas suppose to develop on par with the rest of other constituencies. Then take Ngemah for an example – falled to Independent (isolated case because the winner had to prove his dignity and pride-he is human too) due to squabble in one of the mosquito parties. ‘Termite’ did warned once – ‘if incumbent power(BN) lose that constituency, they(Ngemah) will not receive any kinds of development for 10-20 years to come.’ Some people recorded his statement. So what is the difference either the contituent once in coalition, and now out of the coalition – the answer is no difference? Apparently incumbent power still stick to this dishonest MO – ‘punitive politics of development.’

    Further, due to internal squabble in mosquito parties, many youngsters in disarray and shying away from joining any of the parties because the unending dispute.

    Alternatively, all of us hope for ‘divine intervention’ munyi ko Unggal Idris. Awakka bisi b(u)y-election. But will God answer our prayer(even we praying non-stop) if there is no ‘political will’ or our reps are suffering from ‘powerless anxiety disorder’ to say/speak out what they need to say/propose in assembly.

    They themselves already lack of ‘smartness’ so please stop misleading simple minded rural folks.

    JJM – a man with nothing in mind! He talks like he knows everything infact he is nonsense!

    Siku orang ti patut memperjuang & mempertahankan bansa iya empu but very very sad… iya empu ti memandang rendah ngagai bansa diri empu. He is leader with no vision for his own people!

    JJM – sebagai orang ti bepangkat tinggi – you should change the way you look at your own people, you should improve the way how to deliver or to express your mind to your people.

    JJM – i totally against your statmnent not because of jelousy or hatred but because i think as a very high profile man, you must deliver the most the most encouraging or up lifting words towards your own community. Words always represent what is in people heart & mind. If you telling your son or daughter as he or she is not smart day & night, meaning that you shape them according to your own pattern. The same things apply to your own people. Every single word come from you is like a seed. You plant a bad seed you will get a bad fruit.

    JJM – if you really have passion for dayak community to rise up in every aspect, why don’t you gather all the dayak professional, both support or not support you to sit together and discuss the plan or agenda how to transform the present situation that we live in. If you gentleman please reconsider my opinion. This is better than you shot them in the press.

    JJM – stop to pretend as a smart guy!

    I’m totally agree with you. It’s NOT right for PBDS to depend on KING OF GAMBLER to finance the party before.

    Now, JJM and Iban have suffer because our FUTURE had became an object for GAMBLING.

    However, that was a GOOD but PAINFUL lesson for Iban leaders. Now they became lickers and leeches.

    Iban, get rid of these pests once and for all !!!

    Anang kelalu balat ga bala kita nganu tudah JJM- Aku bisi ninga berita iya deka ngaga ukai semina jalairaya ari Sibu sampai ke Kapit, tang iya mega deka ngaga monorail – baka ke dikena train ari KLIA ngagai KL sentral. Nya baru iya , sekejap bala kitai iban nurun ngalu ke Sibu enti nya udah siap ila.

    Tambah mega JJM enggau Raja Judi deka ngemesai ke padang bilun kitai di Kapit ngambi ke ulih alai bilun bansa Airbus ulih inggap. Nyamai kitai Kapit ila , ulih terus terbai ke Landan terus enda iboh ngetu di KL tauka Singapura.Towkay judi pan nyamai meh terbai terus ngagai Macau, ngagai casino din.

    Internet service mega deka diberi enda bebayar kelimpah ari api electric Bakun ke enda abis kena. Nama enda penyamai kitai orang Kapit ila ENTI semua utai tu udah nyadi nyata. Aku irau ke Tubai Kara nilat pelir Masing baru- for the 3rd times.

    Dr,

    “Today’s Dayaks are thinking Dayak”….well, I am desperate to find someone who is influential enough to revolutionize our “THINKING and MENTALITY” so that all that is ours NOW is not going to be lost in the immediate future and we,the dayak, are leapfrogging a few decades to be at par or a head compared to other communities.

    Perhaps the thinking Dayak must pool all their thinking to make for the lost time.

Semoa tuai Iban tau YB mesti empuru siti party anang meliah ari Sibu,Kapit,Betong,Baram Bintulu,Tatau, Limbang engai ka menoa ketai dayak di ambi bansa bukai sida ka Kaya, china,melayu. Ketai Dayak engai meri tanah Geran laban dayak kaya ba tanah. Diatu sida iya ngalah ka ketai engau ladang. Mayoh menoa Iban di ambi ladang.
    Semoa YB anang selalu meli ka Dayak engau project Zinc, paku lawang, pintu, playwood,papan etc.. nadai reti abis lama 2 tahun. Nama Daya enda oleh meli nya. Badu mabok agi. YB ka rumah panjai anang niki engau babi, enti nuan ngagai rumah YB di Kuching engau KL nadai meh sida iya niki nuan engau babi, Bama reti. YB anang nyadong pemula ngagai rumah Dayak. Semoa YB enti enda nepu dayak nadai oleh Kaya.
