Of late, many of our political leaders are jittery and unease with several burning issues besieging the state, most alarming are the rampant abuse by the power that be to exploit NCL & NCR, unjust attack on bloggers, top leadership tussle for control of their parties in SUPP, PRS, SNAP !
After Batang Ai By -Election
The just concluded Batang Ai by-election only served to disquieten the state BN at least for a spur of moment. The issue of dual-President in PRS, out burst by many disgruntled Dayak intellectuals on inequality and disproportionate allocation of development fund, the rampant land grabbing by rich and ruthless ruling politicians for quick cash – are some of the many issues the government cannot simply sweep under the carpet. The latest being the impending entry of PKR into Sarawak added to the political flavor of Sarawak politics.Many different category in society
In any society, there are the good, the bad and the ugly. In our society, there is another category called the dumb and gullible on part of the rakyat, whilst on part of the leaders, we have leaders who are arrogant and hypocrite and cardinal liars. In recent spate of event, we have seen NCL & NCR issue Dayak backwardness and marginalization have surfaced. Bloggers and young Dayak intellectuals have spoken out their frustration at their so-called leaders.
The same song
Sensing his time in near, the ever-willing parrot Jabu leaped to his feet, rattled his weathering feathers, singing his off tune song called SALCRA, singing praises for his demi-God boss Taib Mahmud, fired his corroded yet empty shot gun at bloggers, blaming everyone but himself for the prevailing misery and predicament of the Dayaks! Other less fatal yet not less irrelevant parrots such as Jemut and Mawan echoed Jabu’s song, like a flattering orchestra with no audience.
Funniest Clown
Yet, Jabu is seen by many as the funniest clown of the century! To prove a fool is a real fool, let the fool do his foolish way. He flew to Miri to entice the Orang Ullu for political sympathy, ally himself to another Orang Ulu version of Jabu ~ the timid Lihan Jok.
Jabu went to Niah and distributed SALCRA dividend, amounting to only few hundred ringgit per family for the last 12 years, only to add insult to the JV landowners. His empty shotgun backfired – ridiculed himself in front of hundreds of Dayak intellectual during the Sarawak Dayak Graduate Association (SDGA) meeting in Kuching as if he was telling bedtime stories to his grand children in his speech. The meeting wrote him off by voting out his proxy team from the executive committee in SDGA. All these events are a reflection of a paranoid politician who overstays their welcome.
Radio and Newspaper Information
God is still merciful to Jabu and his cohorts. They are free to exploit the radio and newspapers to continue to mislead the people. Bloggers are blessed with the Internet technology – to speak their mind without fear and favour!
The most fatal blunder Jabu and his cohort made was, they accused bloggers on anti government – much to their ignorance, some BN YB are active bloggers including the current Prime Minister. He is famous for his ball polisher antiques in front of Taib where in many instances, cause Taib own embarrassment. One example is his silly act as an avid photographer. I am sure he has kept volumes of Taib photographs in his collections in the hope that when Taib passes on – his spirit will bless Jabu family forever and ever.
How smart is smart?
Jemut even has the balls to say that…”Dayaks lack the Political Smartness and allowed themselves to be instigated by opposition element, which is reason for their backwardness” What a smart analysis from a smart politician in the person of Dr. Jemut Masing and Sim Kwang Yang could not agree more with Jemut.
James’s Role in breaking PBDS
IIf we can recall how smart is this Jemut to have grinned to his ears with Sng Chee Hua when they won their PBDS game fight against Tajem and Sallang which resulted in the demised of PBDS. Come on Jemut! tell the world how much you hate this Taib and Awang Tengah for “ngerampas temuda Dayak”as you used to tell your close friends, but in public you has praises for them! How good a turncoat you are!
NCR Seminar in Bintulu
BN hastily organize a seminar on NCR in Bintulu trying to brainwash and misled the largely illiterate and ignorant Tuai Rumahs on the legislative law governing NCL & NCR. To demonstrate the government sheer arrogance, non of the Dayak NGO are invited to attend the seminar. What do we expect from the Tuai rumahs? Do we expect them to argue their case against the intricate amendments of the Land Code & other land related laws?
Awang Tengah the second minister of planning said arrogantly in Bintulu… “ Prove that your land is NCR with evident…..the evidence and conditions must be based on the research and record kept by Land and Survey Department,” Come on Mr. Tengah! how do you expect us to trust Land Survey record which you are in control?
Land Code is a stumbling block to development?
Taib saw that the land code as a stumbling block for his “Politics of Development“. So, he went on to change the provisions of the land code pertaining to Native Customary Land especially S5(2) not once but FOUR times. The manner in which he passed those amendments is akin to a boat owner fixing leaks in his boat!
Did Dayak YB supported amendment to Land code
Many people asked this question – why Dayak politician supported amendment to land laws which affect the very people whom they represented? Never, at anytime I heard them speaking against any of the policies put up by the government.
The answer is obvious – They lacked political courage to speak against the evils of the government and when they saw Taib coming to the Dewan Undangan Negeri, they all rushed towards him, trying to get Taib’s attention.
Yet, when talking in the longhouses, these BN political parasites in the person of Enteri, Nyarok, Entulu, Jemut and the rest – dared to even pump their chest & sing praises for BN and appease their most revered demi-God leader by the name of Taib Mahmud.
Conclusion
In the just concluded Batang Ai by-election, yet the people who are overjoyed in celebration are the PBB senior leaders, despite the winning candidates is my friend Musen Lamoh from PRS. What does this tell us?
Wake up my brothers! Lets not quarrel, let not fight among us for nothing! Lets fight for our little rights as guaranteed in the Malaysian constitutions.

It is a good piece to read, very constructive and yet extremely impressive. As for me i don’t have much things to say as i myself thoroughly agreed with what the writer wrote. To say the Dayak representative have no political courage is one thing and well what did Jam Machine was right when he said that Dayak has lack political smartness. Being Dayak himself, he is very smart for the sake of his political survival and the same goes to other Dayak YBs. But in the eye of the generation X and Y, this lack of political smartness should go to them being their relentless in praising their demi God Taib mahmud and their constant defeat in their conscience in their inner principle in defending the rights of the Dayaks. And this hill billies and country bumpkins has no other alternatives and have to follow these mongrel politicians unlike their semenanjung brethens. But i do really sympathize this galah hill billies and country bumpkins but what can we do. just get on with life.

Yes, it looks like all our leaders are blessed as our leaders to get richness unlimitedly any means they want. Look like God still love them to continue until they die as our leader; that;s why they are still look like stubborn being at the helm of their career. Biar bini parai, anang badu ngapa.
Our Iban YBs are not clowning.It just that their opinions ,ideas, thoughts,deeds, actions and speeches are not relevant when compared to the current situation. They do these so that they can always be seen to be good leaders, performing up to the arbitrary standard required for political survival.
They just talk so that they look credible. But sttatistics from govr agencies (LCDA & SALCRA) under their ministries do not show a good answer.

Land Development over and over,what targets do our beloved Minister has for the participants ?How many Dayak millioners do they expect to create say in 10 years,20 years, etc. from the so call development ?
FELDA in Semenanjung has been known to have created many millioners among the participants.If the government land development will handout only
“chicken feeds” then the whole system should be revamped or stopped.
The mastermind must be genuine in his intention to ensure that the Dayaks are not going to be squatters in the end of next decades.
Is the so-called land development just a pretext
to rob the Dayaks of their NCR lands ?

Jabu is always jabu cheat here cheat there,if he is good,Bos jabu Why didn’t give land title to dayak ncr land and all land that had JV with multi million to have external editor to edit its income at year end?
It is NICE to give land titles to the NCR lands belng to the bumi who are mostly Dayak. But bear in mind that issuing land titile does guarantee increased socio-economis stnding of the title receipients.
