Dayak YB has no planning for their constituency

No Paperwork – no preparation
Have you ever wondered on whether or not your Dayak Ybs have got some papaerwork for their respective constituencies?. I do not socialse much with our Dayak YBs neither I always bump into thr political secretaries. But my gut feeling and conscience tells me that our Dayak YBs have NEVER prepared any working paper for our Dayak people.
No Strategy / No Planning
As a result, they have never drawn up a STRATEGY, no PLANNIG, absence of IMPLEMENTATION, no ACTION and follow-up ACTION,no MONITORING and SUPERVISION and finally delivering no results. There is alomst zero figure to boost, talkabout and reported to the public.Our Iban YB public speeches are full of lies coz the fgure to verify.
Pak Turut
The next outcome of the absence of the above, our YBs seem to be forever PAK TURUT, never bother with 4 amendments to our LAND CODE, making the door wide open for daylight robbery of our NCR land. There is no Dayak/Iban millionnaire even if they Iban cronies/cohorts of our Iban YBs. There are only a small percentage of Dayak teaching even in school whereby the majority of students are Dayak.
A sure Failure with proper paperwork
And because of absence of paperwok, our Dayak YBs SURELY fail to provide us exact figures on the number ofDayak/Iban graduates from a particular school in their constituencies. Since they are our YBs,they are the right people to provide us the figures. Just by knowing the exact figres on the number of graduates from a particular school could be favourable to their political career as it shows that they are aware.
A promise never delivered
I still can recall our Iban YB coming to a school in my area as an invited guest to a Schoo; Land Sport Meet. In that speech, he promised to chip in RM10,000-00 towards the school a few years ago. Recently, I met the chairman of the PTA who informed me that it remains a promise till this very day.
Therefore, our Dayak Needs are not delired by our Dayak/Iban YBs becaused they never have had a paperwork to do.

The YB were pick and choose and you vote for them. That’s our great mistake. ‘Anang ngelaban perintah’ is a politic of fear.
I know dayak are very brave. They are the warrior of the dayaks land (Sarawak), tang ndak uleh ngayau laban udah bisik perintah.

This is a type of a selfish politician who has no vision and mission in his struggle to help his own community, only to serve himself to get employment, wealth and position. Vote them out in the next general election.
I think we need to change them and let us replace them and see how much we can do for our people.
1) Paper work, planning preparation, bisi you. Example the proposed JalanRaya Belaga,Kapit, Song, Kenowit, Sibu have been proposed probably since the 70s. On top of that there are many direct nego proposals too. But things are slow. It is not the YB’s faults. I heard recently that one YB smashed the mini-budget booklet to the floor at the parliment house because his road was missed out again!?
Road is one thing. Another written proposal was about one community college to be built for each parlimentary constituency. So, the wish is to have one in Belaga, one in Kapit and one in Kenowit, etc. so that those students who could not make it to university could pursue their studies nearer to homes and more cost effective…tang…peda dek ga pengigat Pak Lah suba, diatu Najib ga. Makin sehari makin handsome agi meh tuai kitai ba Malaysia.
2) Planning Strategy, pun bisi you.
3) Pak Turut. Tu amat. Ni jako BN sigi enda tau di laban, endang bisi protokol & hiearachy. Enti nuan ngelaban baka Datuk Daniel kadang2 mantah, udah nya belaya meh, ujong 2 enda tau begulai.
Siti da sida iya amat takut, iya nya takut enda kena dipileh tuai BN nyadi candidate ila; enti sida iya maioh hal. This is real fear. I could say a YB’s top priority is to get nominated and re-elected – more important than the rakyat’s problems. Bala YB nemu magang selok belok tu, nyalai – pak turut is good, silent is golden.
4) YBs can obtain any paper work he wants. Many intellectuals, professionals and even professors are willing to assist with the paper work. If not they can also pay people to do it. It is not the paperwork, justifications, etc., it is the request for them to be “patient”. For instance, nadai enda utai di bantai ke bala through DCCI resolutions suba, bala YBs meh dia, dibai ngagai PM empu, maioh utai di pinta, di padah, etc…tang the outcomes of such continous efforts are yet to be seen.
5) Actually YBs are quite powerless when come to major developments. The most they could do would be to expedite, recommend small projects here and there. Their allowable personal grant budget is very small indeed. Lets say an MP pledge to give RM10k to your local church, well, he will have to either pay first and claim later or getting someone to arrange to pay that money. This kind of tasks is tedious and tiring for them. But they still do it, we should appreciate their effort.
6) There are many rich YBs, that’s quite true. But some YBs were rich before they become YBs while some are the other way around. Let take a case of honest YBs who hardly receive other incomes apart from their allowances and basic pays. The expectations of the rakyat are huge, they would want a YB to sponsor many things, even buying coffins for instance. Such YBs would be struggling financially. So next time, when you meet a YB, offer to buy him the coffee instead of expecting him to buy for you!
Next time, if people ask you to stand in an election, please think carefully. Being a YB not necessarily guarantee that you would become a millionaire – unless you are very cunning, good liars, mostly unprincipled, corrupt and especially an expert in carrying balls.

Its perfectly alright, afterall we had named ministers and politicians who were not honest in this Blog. Just curious which YB you thought is honest!To me none….I don’t think a YB who keep mistress fall into your category of honest YB.Correct?
I do not know other Dayak YBs but YB Lihan Jok does have a strategic planning for Telang Usan. That was the strongest point/reason how he was nominated to be a candidate that time. Sort of a promise that will guide him if he is choosen and elected. I hope he is following the strategic planning to develop Telang Usan as planned…. 10% out of bearing is alright.

Please name the YB that failed to fulfil his promises, that way the rakyat will know who is this YB that is NATO and tin kosong, we will get rid of him next election.
That is the problem nowadays, the rakyat are so afraid to name names. If it is proven ie. recorded and with witnesses, name those useless YBs. Let the rakyat decide whether the YB deserve another chance or not.
It is time to get rid of useless, lazy, makan gaji buta and talk-only YBs. We need working YBs, after all they are being paid to serve the rakyat.

Just take a look at what is going on with the development/progress that we are hoping for???.

Is the progress/development really good ,fair, in tanden with the progress & development of other & groups…..
Ask these questions,then you could be able to narrow down which particular Ybs………….
We all know YBs is/are really good & know how to talk only but,sad no action Why….Perhap, they are in the wrong camp…..opposition..& no fund at all.Of course, they have to talk…..what do you think about this,right….kahkahahhaha.
Perhaps, a handful is enjoying the fruit of development.Maybe,it takes time and the impact is not visible yet…….but for how many years do we need to wait another 46+1 years to lay a muddy road to the interior of Third division.

Let us also give credit to those Ybs who have done
their part for their own constituencies……..
but, the question is they could do a lot more for the DayakIban community in term of all aspects..

Guys,
When you go back this Gawai, please have a look at the ruai of your Tuai Rumah. I am quite sure you will see a big poster complete with wooden frame saying something like this ” Please vote Barisan Nasional for developmet in infrastructure, economy and education”. It’s size is abour 3×4″.
Is there any infrastructural develoment, economic development and educational development being planned, implemented,,work-in-progress and completed work in your area?. Certainly, we could say yes. But don’t realise that our Dayak YBs could only give MRPs. Major development projects are awarded to other races outright. Our Dayak YBs are deeply engrossed in DEVELOPMENT IN POLITICS ONLY. Theres is very minimal attempt to bring about DEVELOPMENT in INFRASTRUCTURE,ECONOMY and EDUCATION as planned.
Your Dayak YBs are just like our YB. Just pay a visit to an office of any Iban Ybs, you will not see any figures displayed indicating what is being planned, implemented, work in progress and so forth for their constituencies. One chinese MP in Sarawak has got a file for every single longhouse in his constituency regardless whether or not the Tuai Rumah has been officially appointed by the government. He has a political representative to show you what has been done to a particular longhouse. The figures are all there for all the rakyat to see.
Now, what about our Dayak YBs?.Have they done any finished their homework?. Is there any remarkable improvement of the road linking your longhouse?. When was the last time your YB went to visit your nearby primary school?, And what did he promise?. Making promises are part and parcel of Development in politics, in case we forget.
“Many YBs can do paperwork if they want”. Well, as our YBs, they must make it as their WANT for this is the WANT of the majority of our Dayak people. They are voted as our YBs to deliver the NEEDS and WANTS and the Dayak. Nothing more and nothing less.
What has gone wrong with the DCCI resolutions?. No outcome?.. This is because there is no or ineffective monitoring, supervision and follow-up action on the part of the Committee members of DCCIwho are mostly our Dayak Ybs or ex-YBs.
The mere presence of some paperwork on a negotiation able does not show the effectiveness of our YBs. Certain time frame should be given to a particualr development project. When a project is planned to be completed in 1 year but only delivered in the next after the next election must be considered as no planning.
Well done, YB Lihan Jok. Keep it up. Ybs like you are far in between. Hope otjher YBs will start. soon.

I will not vote for BN. i VOTE DAP or PKR. Many YBs do not have planning. Exactly, but I admire YB Joseph Salang. He is doing his best in JUlau with all the plannings and quite a number have materialised. However, I am very frustrated by this typical iban from Slanggau none other than Joseph Entulu who who doesn’t want to be called dayak. You go to Pasai Siong, Tamin and Slanggau where Iban longhouses are situated. YOu will have a biiig surprise because the roads are very bad. If it rains heavily, the road is muddy. If it is dry season like now, it is dusty. You talk so much about irelevant issue “DAYAK” why don’t you talk about constructing roads and other important facilities for your constituents. Shut up your bad MOUTH. Slamat gawai DAYAK to all except to Entulu.
There are only 2 YBs thats have all these planning thing, YB Taib for his mukah constituency and YB Jabu for Betong looooooool
Okano – I was happened to be Pasai Siong 4 weeks ago….meda tanah NCR…the road there, although not tarred, was quite good actually. It reminded me of the Miri/Sibu roads in the 80s. That Pasai road is just like a North South Highway compared to our No Highway between Kapit/Song/Kenowit.
But I am not blaming our MP, YB Alexander, because we all know it is not his fault. The Star reported him as follows once:

Regarding DCCI, I think we need to understand that it is simply a business chamber, not a government body or political party. Membership are open to all Dayaks and the chamber main purpose is to serve its members in business issues i.e. via collective voices of the chambers or via advices. Please don’t expect the chamber to bring developments like what the YBs can do. Nonnetheless DCCI is very important, it is after all the only Dayak chamber of commerce in the whole universe (Chinese have one Chamber per town). DCCI also become an avenue to remind the Government that Dayaks business peole badly need helps.

Dr JBA,this is a serious allegation frm someone as influential as you. How can you write a blog, criticising the YBs with “gut feelings”?
This is where a lot of people with little knowledge or no knowledge at all might be confused with the difference between contructive criticism and slander.
As you can see from my nickname “pemerhati politik”, it literally means “political observer”. I dont choose side between the government or opposition. But, giving out false claims and opinions is not ethical, especially coming from a man such as you who strive to fight for the rights of iban by writng blogs(so you claimed.)
How cud you say dayak ybs are so inept that they failed to plan when there are ybs out there contributed accordingly to the rakyat?
Given the fact that you “do not socialse much with our Dayak YBs” is an obvious give-away that you do not KNOW them or even keeping tracks of their ‘plans’. I am quite unhappy with your allegations because it is very unfair to those YBs who make an effort to be vigilant and selfless towards the rakyat when all you cud do is criticising without even knowing what they were doing all this time.
just because you found out one YB failed to fulfill his promise to one school doesnt mean it represent the whole YBs around. I even keep track of one YB who takes care of the constituency of my hometown, he did marvelously well. So is it fair to downgrade all YBs when there are YBs around who did a great job?
To all readers of this blog or supporters of JBA, im not here throwing tantrums around. I come to this blog every now and then to see political views of politic enthusiasts.
but when it comes to something like this, a blogger claiming something by ‘gut feelings’, im not sure this blog cud be really beneficial to the rakyat other than making false claims and a lot of ’shooting in the dark’.

Aku nyukung utai ke ditulis LT. Ketebal agi YB kitai Iban sigi nadai ngaga perambu ka ngemansang ke bansa, semina ka ngenyang ke perut diri empu aja. Maioh agi ke ngenatai ke diri ngagai rumah panjai maia kempen aja. Enti enda maia bepilih jarang3 meda YB ngabas pendiau kitai bansa.
Kadang2 YB semina nyadi Mr. ceremony, ngaga janji bula- mechah ke tanah konon nya bejadi projek…tai palat, suah dikembula ke YB.
Uji rintai ke nuan nama utai udah digaga YB kitai bansa ke nyengala nguntung ke rayat rumah panjai? Uji peda lalu banding ke nuan nama utai udah diberi YB bansa bukai ngagai rayat sida empu? Tilik raga kitai, telik ga raga bansa bukai, sapa ke maioh bulih buah Mederka?
