As a supporter of Dayak Baru,I fully support Penang CM,and I will help in any way that I could,to see that the DEB is formed to help our poor Dayaks.

As for our Dayak YBs,and I don't bother to know who they are actually, are all very RICH and most often they do not remember that they are Dayaks.
Their priorities are to get re-elected and continue to make more millions out of Dayak miseries.

If they have travelled through the whole length and breadth of Sarawak may be they would have seen the prevailing state of poverty affecting our Dayak communities.

Joseph Entulu only discovered poor Penans only
in Lusong Laku in Belaga. He could have seen more had he visited places like Pak Layun in Baram.
Our Ybs should visit more places so that they would see the real pictures.'Seeing is Believing'.

Lim Guan Eng is a person whom I consider as a 'Caring Malaysian'crossing geographical, racial and political boundaries, but rejected outright by
'useless and hopeless' BN Dayak YBs.

Banting..

Let me answer.
1."If for instances, the same idea was mooted by the Prime Minister Datuk Najib or by any West Malaysian BN minister, does Jabu Numpang dare to say the idea could not be accepted because it came from someone who did not come from Sarawak and trying to win popular support in Sarawak?"
--------------------------------------------------

Definitely, TS Jabu WILL NOT dare to say anything if it is from the mouth of DS Najib. Not even a single word. I dare to bet. JJM also will definitely be silent. Their political ideologies are full of hypocrisies. There is no consistency in their political thinking. They are always doing apple polishing to protect themselves and their cronies. That is why they are always being the followers.

Dayakbaru do not want this sort of political hypocrisy. And that is why the Dayaks slowly lose some rights.
--------------------------------------------------

2."Do Iban leaders realise that some Ibans are begging from gambling outlet punters in the streets of Miri town?"
--------------------------------------------------

They are IDIOTS if they do not realise this Dayak predicament. They should have read it in the paper yesterday. It is quite shameful that DatuK Awan, DS Asing, YB Snout Dawn and Yb MoungD to condemn LGE when on the next page of the same paper highlighted the Dayak poverty.

Can anyone from SGDA go to YB Snout Dawn service centre to check the statistical figure on poverty in his constituency?. Ask him for the number of Doctors are originally coming Balai Ringin constituency. Does he have the figure?. I suppose it is only his wild guest without any proper studies being carried out. But many would agree if we say that the Dayaks are generally poor. If they have money earning more than RM500.00, they are still poor in other areas, especially
education.

Therefore, the Dayaks really need something like being proposed by LGE. Come on Dayak YBs, call it by an alternative name as we need similar to DEB.

The proposal by someone from any background should be considered as part of brainwashing in order to get some ideas.

Cheers...

Only a wise man will say `thank you` to a person who gives him something which is valuable (not corruption practice), and only a selfish man will respond in negative.

When the Chief Minister of Penang Lim Guan Eng proposed aid for Dayaks by setting up the Dayak Endowment Board to help the Dayak community to eradicate poverty, the dayaks should appreciate it and thankful to Lim Guan Eng. If for instances, the same idea was mooted by the Prime Minister Datuk Najib or by any West Malaysian BN minister, does Jabu Numpang dare to say the idea could not be accepted because it came from someone who did not come from Sarawak and trying to win popular support in Sarawak? Likewise, does Masing Jemut dare to say the suggestion was just a political promise?

If someone is saying dayaks are poor, there is a truth in it. Why some dayak elected representatives do not happy with that?

Do Iban leaders realise that some Ibans are begging from gambling outlet punters in the streets of Miri town? What happen to the Barisan Nasional government under the Welfare Departmant to help these beggars as claimed by Snowdan? Does Snowdan still maintain that rural families earn not less than RM200 a month?

Do Iban leaders realise that some of Ibans in rural areas are selling jungle produces, paddy and catching fish and prawns to get cash and earn less than RM200 a month? We don`t deny it some Ibans in rural areas can afford to buy cars, but out of thousands, how many of them can do that, one, two, three only?

What do you think?
The facts that this YBs never reveal about their people's fate(they can do it long time ago but they didn't) but suddenly Guan Eng which we may consider as an outsider comes with this good suggestion..??
Of course it was a BIG SHAME to them, so what left for this YBs now is to make a denial, again and again in order to cover their own big a**

One of these YBs who "sakit mulut" but kuku are not being affected, is a hair loser. Very high maintenance. Once he went for treatment enough to support more than 30 persons in Guan Eng DEB's list. This is his priority. His hair is more important than helping the needy. Good job Guan Eng! I think he is more "berhormat" if he dare to be Yang Botak.

BN Dayak YBs are running dogs to their own community.
Sirat, cawat etc is one they can freely bark.
Inconsequential, petty issues will see them bark loudest.
Ditto those from SUPP etc.

Which one is in in our people priority list?. Is it the issues relating to "sirat" or proposal to establish a DEB plan suggested by Lim Guan Eng, CM of Penang?.

Of course there are a thousand kind of issues like NCR lands, education and so forth. But when comparing the importance of sirat and DEB, the former is way way down the priority list. We want something that can help us so that we can move forward. Solving the sirat problem/stigma will certainly not lead us anywhere.

So, what do we do with sirat from now on?.Nowadays,Sirat is not a must-have -item in Iban life.We can survive without any sirat. If you have some sirat, put them nicely and them to any of our Iban YBs. They know how to use them.

Therefore, when our Iban YBs come out to condemn LGE proposal, it is quite perplexing. I am confused. One thing for sure is that our Iban YBs seem to place Sirat as more important than the proposed DEB. In other words, their priority order is wrongggggg. Are we going to continue supporting our YBs who can not get this small decision correct?.

Fortunately, Joe Ulu has gone to the ground. What he saw in the Penan community is surprising he himself. I suppose Joe Ulu is looking for someone who could go along with him to alleviate the plights of the Penans. In this case, the proposed DEB is most welcome.

So, Joe Ulu, if you can agree with the proposed DEB, you may call it by other name so long as it serves the main purpose of helping the starving human being.

Cheers....

I'm very surprised by the way our Dayak Leaders
response to the remarks and suggestion by PR Leaders lately. They seemed to make that like issues that are of significant to our community. So what?
Why didn't they do much when our NCR Land were taken by the towkeys. There are our people whose Longhouses are on the TOL Land despite the fact that they werw forced to surrender their LAND Cos
of security reasons
This issues is more relevant.Pls don't deviate the significant issues and try to gain chieft publicity. What is wrong using 'cawat'? May I ask anyone most of our people today don't know how to
put on the 'sirat'

Narrow minded dayak's assemblymen. Thats what I would call them. As MP he might be right about his constituency but as a leader, he should have been looking at a bigger picture. I do believe that some of us are earning less especially rural folks.
He is also talking about fish and fishing rod but he forget about the pond for the fish to live. Most of the children in his constituency are actually working aboard because he cannot provide employment opportunity to them. This is the pond I am talking about. What for the fishing rod if there is no fish to catch.
