Dayakbaru are lying most of the time

The beauty of politics

Words like dirty, cronism, nepotism were being abusely use by those power crazy just because they want to sit at that position. Those who claim politic is dirty is a liar as they will never tell the truth. If politic is really dirty why do they open political blog and talking politic night and day. That is the beauty of politic as it’s full of lies and slanders just to tarnish the image of their opponent.

KL Based Dayak are used by Anwar

To those KL Dayak they were merely use by Anwar to check Dayak response on the ground as whether the bait like promising CM post, NCR land remedial formula, important gomen positions does ring a bell or not to those gullible dayak.

Do you think Hj. Adi would give a consent to Anwar or Kit Siang to do at their free will even let say in their dream that they ever able to form the gomen. Just like the case of trying to bring Ching Peng back to Malaysia, when DAP-PKR did not oppose which then subsequently triggered the controversial episode of PAS-UMNO unity talk just to show PAS also can make the shot.

Will Hj. Hadi would not say that Dr.John is not qualified as he is not from the “bin” family.

From the way DB put their political game it’s clearly that they will never garner even 10% of dayak support.
This is because they have lied even before they are put into power as..

1) It’s a pure lie when they say that they will not enrich themselves when they are in power and thus their family members will not gain anything at all.

2) It’s a pure lie that they will not practice favourism.

3) It’s a pure when you say my minister salary and allowance is enough to cover my oversea vacation with my family and send all my 3 childrens to overseas study without gomen help.

4) It’s a pure lie and lie when they deny they don’t abuse gomen facilities, official cars strictly for official hours, free meal from big towkays and other sponsorship and etc.

    1) It’s a pure lie when they say that they will not enrich themselves when they are in power and thus their family members will not gain anything at all.
    ————————————————-

    DL,
May I just simplify that it is TRUE for those in power (BN- like our beloved CM, TS Jabu, Mawan and Asing)would prefer to enrich themselves together with their family members.

    ———————————————-
    2) It’s a pure lie that they will not practice favourism.

    DL,
So, Can I just say that the current BN government is now practising FAVOURITISM?.

    3) It’s a pure lie when you say my minister salary and allowance is enough to cover my overseas vacation with my family and send all my 3 children to overseas study without gomen help.

    DL,
It the social responsibility of the government to provide school to its citizens. Therefore, most people have no alternative choice but to send their children to government schools. This is a matter of government policy. In education system, we can not get away from government schools.

But if the guy you are talking about is working overseas , it is possible. I do not think there are many though.

At the moment, I think it is a lie.

    ————————————————–

    4) It’s a pure lie and lie when they deny they don’t abuse gomen facilities, official cars strictly for official hours, free meal from big towkays and other sponsorship and etc.

    DL,
Again, can I just say that the current government ministers are indeed abusing government facilities, enjoy free meals with big towkeys and so forth?.

    Cheers…

Wait a minute; Dayak Lama is giving all of us a reality check.

When he said “It’s a pure lie when they say that they will not enrich themselves when they are in power and thus their family members will not gain anything at all” take that as a challenge. The same goes for the other points.

We cannot be blind to some salient facts in life; power corrupts. Let’s see some of the reasons why I tend to look at that posting as a reality check.

    1. Many PR recruits are disgruntled members of one of the ruling parties. With them are the old traits of corruptions and cronyism etc. Take for example Perak fiasco. How do you explain the 3 assemblymen charged and subsequently returned to UMNO? What are the stories behind MACC in Selangor here? Could there be some, if not all, maybe 20% truth to the MACC investigations?

    2. Sometimes one power is changed with another – there is actually not much difference. The apparent “clean” image we see in PR is our perceptions. Similarly we also perceived anything to do with the old power is corrupted – again perception. Just wait another 2 or 3 years. Serupa semua.

We may have a change of government but if we expect it as a licence to clean up the system, we may be disappointed.

I have only some disagreements with out Dayak Lama, but mention only one here. You cannot lump KL Dayak together as tools for Anwar. On that point you concluded something rather extraordinary (ie lie).

  6. CharcoalArt on August 19th, 2009 5:05 pm

Lying or not is a side track. The bigger issue is why can’t the present Dayak leaders convince the Gov’t to implement a policy such to elevate the Dayaks to be on par with the Malays/Melanau instead of lagging behind so drastically? Will new leaders able to do better?

  7. BR on August 19th, 2009 5:24 pm

Whether politic is dirty depends on the individual. Of course no one is perfect. But what is important is that we must honest in our deeds and words.

If one can accuse Anwar of using KL based Dayak, it is much more easy to claim the BN is using Dayak leaders for their own ends.We heve plenty of evidence aorund us.

But the difference is that, BN is proven to have abused the Dayak. Otherwise why the hue and cry from the Dayak community.

On the other hand, PR has no record of that and therefore is entitled to the benefit of the doubt.

As we see it, lying is often permitted to save the situation, occasion, systems and so forth, the laut called it “BOHONG SUNAT”. The Englishman called it “LIAR,LAIR” and there is a film starring JC(Jabu&Chan) both DCM. It is a good film, it teaches us about moral value. The iban called it we guess “Tugong Pemula”

Well, Dayaklama, we are agreed with you by lying a little bit will do no harm. After all much have been scarified, we don’t want to pretend that we are an angels, all perfect and never lies.

Who could tell us which country in this globe never lies and ZERO corruption index?

Remember we(MRM) only got 12 limbs and after all The Benefit Of The Doubt shall be given to the PR and no guarantee that they will not follow suit(If Given The Power/Authority) with the BN.

    Thank you.

Unggal BV tu bejako ukai nuju DJB aja tang ngagai semoa bala anembiak Dayakbaru. Nama motif iya kitai bela enda nemu. Kebuah aku nyebut tu laban ba peragam ati aku iya bisi tuju ke besai. Kesatu angka iya ensidan nyepi pemerinsa kitai Dayak, tang bala kitai Dayak nyengkaum DB nadai bisi engkasak siko nitih ka ati ti kedeka iya ngalah ka orang ke ngindik kitai. Nya kebuah iya nyebut kitai talking rubbish and should look into big picture. Enti tu juluk ati iya, nya tau nyadi ka peransang kitai.

Kedua, laban DJB benong bejako ka SPDP ba Bintulu, aku takut ke juluk ati iya kebukai laban angka iya bisi diasut tauka bisi udah Brain Watch orang bukai kena malas penemu kitai ba blog tu ke mantai ke penemu ke salah dikerja orang ngagai bansa kitai, kelebih agi Datuk Tiong pengari YB ari Bintulu.

    Dayaklama,

It is not about lying but we concern and sad to see our people despite been majority in the state we have no voice at all.

When !! We speak no body listen. So we share our concern to all dayaks brothers and sisters so that we learn from it.

The best solution is to revert back upon all the 18 points agreement before we joined Malaysia. Our forefather was wise to make such points so that our people will benefit from it. I dare our Dayaks leader stand up to use such agreement as our focus point to bring back our right as a Sarawak state. Print it out in our Local newspaper with the biggest font. Should there be any misuse in the agreement. Please make it right.

  17. Mabel Rachel Maria on August 19th, 2009 11:20 pm

We and a few understood your thoughts Dayaklama.Of course it is not about lying or the mrp and the goodies.
It is about a universal problems that affected the dayak, though it might be an opened secret(The 18 points agreement) which were signed by our forfather to safeguard the dayak’s interest in the future, our generation and the next, next generation to come.

The problems are we are incapable,handcap,short-coming and so forth to talk,to promote,to defend; to speak or to die for the 18 points agreement.

Dayaklama, your idea is fabulous by saying “Print it out in our Local newspaper with the biggest font. Should there be any misuse in the agreement. Please make it right.”

But the question again is,”Who Dare To Do It”.
The good point here is we have a prima-facie case to Fight For The Right Of the Dayak that is defending “The 18 points agreement.”

That is part of the reasons why we are really supporting the DB to organise The Siminar/Workshop/Bengkel face to face. For at least we can come to a little,a few or even a single RESOLUTION(s) for a start. We don’t mine to sacrify, for the dayak name sake.

    Thank you.

Dayaks, Dayaks, Dayaks … It is unwise to speculate and generalize on any matter. To brand politicans are all liars.. is shallow indeed. The same applies to all the other professions.

Please get to the facts, and respond to the facts as much as we can and avoid personal attacks.

We Dayaks have given the BN the mandate to manage the Country and State for more than 40 years. The BN failed us….A FACT.

‘The PR politicans would enrich themselves and their families when they are in power’ …THAT IS SPECULATION.

Dayaks must act or react upon what had happened or had been done to us the past 40 years and make detailed plans on how we are going to progress into the future. I sincerely hope DAYAKBARU is heading along that path.

Iban Abroad … Knock Harder! I mean knock in more senses into our drowzy Dayak heads.

Now we all knows that we must change our present leader in order to improve our policy in the government.
Then I call all our brothers and sisters of all Dayaks in Sarawak; Be wise when you come to vote on this coming state election. Don’t think of short term benefit but a long and life time benefit for our next generation.
Firstly, we must learn to humble ourselves in all we do.

Don’t just think or accept only an Iban can be our leader. Accept other too, like Lu Bawang, Bidayu or others tribes. As long or whosoever elected to be our leader in future, be humble to accept them.

DayakLama: “1) It’s a pure lie when they say that they will not enrich themselves when they are in power and thus their family members will not gain anything at all.”

–Instead of dismissing Dayaklama bollocks, look at another perspective shall we:

For Dayaklama able to predict the fall of BN (gulp!) in Sarawak but the new Sarawak Pakatan govt just as bad as the corrupt BN would be something that against his boss Yang Dikasihi. But the show must go on.

Therefore for self-styled bomoh Dayaklama: just predict the BN downfall to Yang Dikasihi but go for another plan (Plan B) that is Yang Dikasihi must transfer all the shares (CMS, Titanium, Naim, HSL, etc) to Dayaklama holding companies for safekeeping elsewhere before the next state election (phew!). Then, Dayaklama would easily become the first Dayak billionaire and the next richest Malaysian after Robert Kuok.

Dayaklama later can keep telling Yang Dikasihi that the new Sarawak Pakatan govt will be replaced by BN (hurrah!) because it just as corrupt. Until that happen, Dayaklama can keep Yang Dikasihi’s shares and remain the richest Dayak billionaire! For how long is up for Dayaklama to keep on *bluffing lah HAHAHA! Come on Dayaklama…you can do it! Ohhhaaaiii WooHoo!!!

Perhaps in exact opposite, it would be a LIE for Dayaklama to DENY himself a foremost bomoh aka Bomoh Dirghayu Kenyalang and will exploit his ‘gift’ just to dupe Yang Dikasihi in transfering the RM billions of wealth to his name from initially as temporary safe heaven to the biggest swindle ever in Sarawak history.

*Like in Hong Kong case now, one of the top feng shui master, Master Chan even managed to dupe richest lady in HK Mdm Nina Wang into surrendering her vast HK$ billions fortune to his name (to avoid feng shui curse or something), and even admitted in court hearing it’s okay for him to love a lady fit to be his grandma like a boy-toy, but never admit it’s all about cheating for money.

Then, Dayaklama would easily become the first Dayak billionaire and the next richest Malaysian after Robert Kuok.

I am going to busllshit a little bit here.

Such big and rich conglomerates are the trademarks of exemplary business success and management. Such success doesn’t come by itself though; it involved great deal of strategies, cunningness and “God Knows What”. It’s the part of “God Knows What” which often sends huge waves of suspicion among many people where common assumptions are centred on the fact that these conglomerates are well connected with influential political figures.

Thus a question which has been raised time and again is this: “Is it not allowed to have one’s brothers, cousins, nephews, sons, daughters, wives and friends to be successful in business? Is that breaking the laws?” The answer to the question without any doubt is a big “NO”. Now then is there anything else that you could do about? Would it be possible for MACC to embark on urgent investigation on people who no one even dares to say have broken the laws?

I don’t like it (Dayaks being poor) as much as you do but I can’t see anyway to go about it. If you say the people are not happy about such things then we should ask ourselves “who are not happy?” Perhaps many are not happy but large majority are as “happy as hell”. There I go again with my synopsis of “happy Dayaks”.

If we are not able to do anything about it and at the same time as Dayaklama had said there is no guarantee that another set of political leaders would not repeat enriching themselves, then should we not just accept it? If you wish, you could even be part of the acceptance and it is indeed the strategies of many Dayaks. It is after all in line with the Politics of Development.

There are lengthy and formal definitions of Politics of Development but from a layman like me it is quite simple, which is “if you support me, I’ll develop you” which is of course the opposite of “if you oppose me, I’ll kill you”. The last part does not go too well with some Dayaks as understandably we still have the hot headhunting blood flowing in our veins. However as time goes by, the majority of Dayaks, leaders and alike have accustomed to the reality and decided to live by it. It is a question of survival and food on the table for others. Some even rationalise it with virtues such as one should not be jealous of others, be thankful to what you have, pray hard for more blessings, etc. There are also many who have mastered the art of “sembah” which acts would hopefully enhance the returns of “if you support me, I’ll develop you”. The sembah like “yang dikashi” are just part and parcel of it. It’s actually no big deal as it’s merely expressing a brotherly love. It is not even close to “your grace or your honour or your highness”. But we can probably forget about “your majesty” though ?

When I think about the “headhunting blood” it occurs to me that it’s a notion of courage which is almost always inappropriately applied. Why is this so? Well, the courage we are talking about is way outdated. Nowadays it is not about the expression of anger, physical toughness and bravery. It’s about strategies, smartness, HAIR qualities, etc. The arena has changed. We are facing challenges from clever people, people who posses sound business and political strategies, people who have money and technologies, people who are more educated, people who don’t live in longhouses, etc.

To me these kind of talks would bring us round and round, like in a circle, in a way it’s really a daytime bullshitting. The bottom line is that the Dayaks are simply not clever enough as individuals and as community. To change this would require each of us to change ourselves first. Each one of us must try to strike as hard, study as clever, work as smart, etc. such that we no longer have to “sembah” people for a living.

    CA,

Your ‘bottom line’ is what i have faithfully believed in as the ‘KEY’ that will enable Dayaks to progress and eventually be at par with other Malaysians. Not prolonged mourning or constant ‘war-mongering.’

Sometimes the fine lines between truth, half truth and lies are not seen from our tinted eyes.

Charcoal Art, your “bullshit” is in fact, the truth.

Dayaks have been the beneficiaries of many riches of the state. I have mentioned before that the logs from the Baram and Rejang Basin have made many millionaires out of Sarawakians from all races. The Chinese, in fact, used Dayak’s licences to extract the timber yet managed to multiply their wealth and today are very wealthy. The Malays/Melanaus came later but continued to look at business opportunities until today. Is there anything particularly wrong with them?

But the Dayaks – where were the riches. You don’t have to dig hard for their names; our history is only 46 years old. Do you really believe that no Dayaks were and are helped by the state?

To give a scenario of rich Dayaks: to see them, you need appointments and if you just try “to smell” their businesses, they would close their doors. I am speaking from experience. Today some try to champion the plights of Dayaks; friend you are seeing the definition of pure hypo**e.

It’s no point to talk this way but if analysis of past mistakes were made, I see many failures of our Dayak who were beneficiaries of the state’s wealth. We have identified jealousy, hatred and suspicions beside myopic leadership. If we start pointing fingers at other races, three of our fingers are pointing back at us.

    We created our failures.

From what we see, we the dayak are fighting the losing battle. Unless there is a miracle, if there is? Otherwise, most of us will have some hallucinations and mirages on the other side. Then we started to, what people say “Character assisination among us ourselve.”

Phrase like, “Dayak Are Happy, we loved these words”, lak ke aja, if you support me i develope you, you sacratch my back i sacratch you back if accepted with true hearts will ease some stress in the heads. It is something like a releasing valves after some hot days.

But nevertheless we still have high hope that the dayak will strike back in the future, but surely not in our time.

For the time being let us all dayak prayed to the orang panggau especially pandak segatak and bungai nuing to come down from 7 clouds via daun limba-limb-b and distribute some amulets among us, so that we the dayak will have some strenghts, invisible, wise, sane, courages, monies, wealth, and most of all power to overcome.

    Thank you.

    CA,

It is suprising me in the case of your policy of: If you follow me – I will develop you up, If you oppose me – I will kill you.

Its seem that no humanity and religious background on this policy.

But you are seem to be right as it is the way BN leaders like Taib, Jabu, Najib and our X-PM Mohathir Mohammad lead our country.

This is the way G.W. Bush lead the USA and Nethayahu lead Isreil.

CA, for me we need to learn more on good leadership, good gomen, good policy, the good for majority of the people. In other word we need to leran more to be good person, by to be good to our fellow human.

Even if I were Taib kid, Mohathir Mohammad kid, Datuk Sng Kid or Datuk Jabu kid, I am not happy with what I have thro evil deed.

I cannot effort to see the weak kill infont of my eye, I cannot effort to see the weak discriminate, neglected and marginize infront of my eye. For me, it is our responsibility to bring them up as can as we are.

Maybe thats the reason why someone in my boat cannot accept nepotism, cronyisn, power abuse and corruption. We are just dislike discrimination.

CA: “The bottom line is that the Dayaks are simply not clever enough as individuals and as community. To change this would require each of us to change ourselves first. Each one of us must try to strike as hard, study as clever, work as smart, etc. such that we no longer have to “sembah” people for a living. ”

But the problem is: once you ‘sembah’ BN you no longer need to try, study, work hard or smart at all for a living. And that is exactly the falsehood which BN and all its goons and bollocks (like Dayaklama) keep on preaching particularly to the Dayaks.

There are many smart Dayaks but (again) choose to ‘sembah’, serve Yang Dikasihi because they choose BN’s falsehood which is exactly the same problem: once you ‘sembah’ BN you no longer need to try, study, work hard or smart at all for a living!

For Tun Jugah to be ‘rewarded’ with vast area of lands, properties to sweeten the Sarawak deal to join Malaysia federation is simply a hatchet job when those goodies will definately gone back to BN again. What the Tun Jugah family holds now only temporary fixed deposit for BN, same goes to the rest of top Dayak businessmen-poiticians: all your projects mega millions Class A license shall be abolished or agreed to be held ransom.

Using that hatchet job by BN, it’s all bear the same hallmark to the rest of Dayaks until now: why hold ransom the NCR lands when it’s all belong to the Dayaks since ages. Unless allow the dubious plantation projects in order to get land titles? To prove existance of a single durian tree in order to claim the NCR land is yours? Why not BN deny there’s no single Dayak ever live and take all the remaining 2 million hectares of NCR lands?

That is why BN bollocks like Dayaklama can only deserve bollock bullshit response from Dayakbaru and rightly so. BN deny existence of Dayak so do we Dayaks must deny all BN bollocks, beggining with Dayaklama the first of many bollocks we Dayakbaru shall deny next.

Anyway, Dr.John is fairly considerate enough to allow bollocks and lunatics because without them life is boring. That’s why even newspapers allocate some columns for cartoon clips.

…and on top of DL posting, WE DB should be more focus on what our AGENDA for our REAL DB meant…it’s quite fair for DL to say so, thus to brainstorm our DB backborn either….cheers !!!!!
