Land without development is a poverty trap?

Taib said ” Land without development is a poverty trap”.
Not too sure who laid the trap (by design or coicidence), but that is a convenient trick from Yang Dikasihi.
What about land without title?
Even worse, land without proper titles also a poverty trap (by virtue of NCR lands equates state lands) and basically to trap the Dayaks being hijacked from rightful land ownership which in the end Yang Dikasihi would take it to his cronies under provisional leased plantation schemes. Absolutely dirt cheap almost zero land cost to the plantation cronies. Land piracy couldn’t be much easier than this!
Dayak should also enjoy passive income
Without proper titles, those lands also without opportunity at least for the Dayaks to rent it out. Yes, it’s the land rental income is missing here but being replaced by the low and crappy returns from oil palm swindle. Dayaks suppose to run their landed assets just like any other landlords (ie.shophouse owner) to rent out the properties…certainly not for free.
Here, Dayak are supposed to enjoy some passive income from land rentals unlike for the cronies which already get the land at almost zero cost then set to reap the lion share of oil palm money. Why can’t the cronies and the Dayaks equally get easy money?
Manipulated politics of development
Coupled with the politics of development (development politicised heavily), Yang Dikasihi can play delay tactics to any development and to whom he may wish for. Land title issuance is an example. Development, instead of being a basic human rights for all, become a wine. The longer you keep or delay the better it is aged, become higher value in election trading sense.
Dayak being duped
So, land without development is a poverty trap basically turned out to be an easy entrapment by Yang Dikasihi to dupe the Dayaks afterall.
