This post highlight one of the most glaring sign of weakness in our present government. which the people must help correct. The government gave everything to BIGGG enterprise and left nothing to the people.
This force the people to sadly leave their home to look for income somewhere else and send money back to their parent.
DB wanted to know why the government is giving away land, forest concession, negotiated contracts to a few companies and the general population are deprive of a decent income.
Something is really wrong as the money is not being recirculated in the country but has take a planned flight away from Sarawak.
This is a sign of irresponsible government due to poor governance compliance.
Father first then after a while – the son.
Lee Kuan Yew groomed his son into politics from an early age. But to have him taking over missed the point that when Lee Senior left in 1990 and Goh Chok Tong was the PM for 14 years. Goh CT retired (made a senior minister,) Lee Junior took over. In any case, Lee Juior is his son, no doubt, but what about other features in the 7 listed there?
Tun Razak did not groom Najib to be PM but now Najib is PM after 27 years of his father’s death. So you cakap apa?
When Lee was Singapore’s PM, he had different people as finance ministers: Goh Keng Swee followed by Hon Sui Sen, both were selected for their capabilities. Go and read Lee Kuan Yew’s book lah. Cakap-cakap also no point if you don’t want the facts to masuk your thick skull.
Are we ready for modernity?
The fact we are NOT ready and our leadership bankrupt of ideas – that is one of the issues in Dayak Baru. What protection has our longhouse against international issues? What industries can they rely on?
I think there are enough postings here to suggest the only economy our people has is the “remittances from their children” economy. Yet they talk about grandiose projects. Bakun pun belum siap – delayed 9 years.
You have no facts lah friend, pandai no doubt, but pretended to be blur-blur.

Years back, i was approached by a skinnny looking Singaporean man while having a couple of beers with my friend at York Hotel at orchard road where i stay. He introduced himself as Mr.Stephen and the conversation goes like this..
MS-Hi how you doing? I’m Stephen
DL-Just fine, how u doing?
MS-What u doing in Singaopre, where you come from?
DL-Sarawak,my company sent me here to check few things with our principle.
MS-What Sarawak, where is Sarawak?
DL-I feel agitated, and raised my voice saying, Sarawak one of the state in Malaysia. Have you ever look at the map?
MS-I only know Johor,Penang?
DL-Ok fine leave us alone. My Malaya friend just smiling looking at me.
You know what transpired from the above short story?
This Singaporean want you to think that they are superior than you and me. Meaning that they are not a good neighbour and know their own interest only. They know Johor because that is where they get their source of water. They know Penang because geographicaly Penang is an island like Singapore and dominated by the chinese.
I don’t cursed them when they speeding 160-200 KM an hour along North South Expressway from Johor to KL then to Karak to get to Genting Highland. We know that they never have that opportunity at home.
So what is so great about Singapore? When Tun Razak did not groom Najib and it shows that Najib able to climb the ladder by himself. Meaning Malaysia did not practice political dynasty and same goes to Mukriz Mahathir as well. Didn’t that they were chosen because they are capable?
Back to the topic of discussion, isn’t this sound like begging for handouts again. So DB the only way to uplift the Dayaks economy is by developing their land? Do DB have any alternative?
