Change WE Must – to correct injustices

Pistol Pete says:

“But to submit the rural people to the kind of injustices that you know the ruling govt can inflict, as you may not want to sacrifice you ideals, is not exactly right either”.

This is BN “scare’ tactic

I would like to bring another perspective to this approach, which actually is a “scare” tactic to get the people to keep voting for BN and to cow those who even have a thought of challenging BN candidate.

It base its reasoning on the “Cause and Effect” principle. That is: if you do not vote BN, you will not get development. This approach will immediately go against the needs of the people, that is for development to come to their area. The effect is, they will vote out of fear of not getting the “development”.

Is MRP a major development?

My answer is “NO”. If it is, then we would have seen changes in the rural area.

So why is MRP important ?

Two motivation I can think of: (1) for Wakil Rakyat who has “no proper development” plan for his area, giving away of MRP is a feeling good mechanism. The Dayak who are very appreciative of such “political kindness” always felt indebted.The Chinese urban could not give a damn about it as their nature is not of feeling of indebted but of their “rights” to be provided with the correct support to further their business etc.

(2) The Tuai Rumah felt that they are being recognised by the government. RECOGNITION or “givenface” is a life line for Dayak community leader. It is more than value for money. it is the increasing status that they felt their peers will accord them.

BN Wakil Rakyat capitalize on this goodwill to the maximum and thus “anang ngelaban perintah” because if you do, the government willput you to shame. That is frightening to the Dayak community leaders.

How will the rakyat suffer if Opposition is voted in?

This is an assumption that the “Opposition” do not get toform the government. If they do get to form the government as in certain state in West Malaysia, this talk of “suffering” is a non entity.

Any amount of money is substantial, as it has a value to it that could be exchange for something elses. Therefor money allow the person / organization to exercise selection and priorities. But if “development” is only link to “MRP project” that fall short of the real long term development. MRP is a band-aid. If Dayak is trained to rely on “instant noodle” and “anak impun development” that will affect their thinking. The Dayak thinking will be kept low “systematically” and will impede progress.

What should be done by Wakil Rakyat to helpthe community without making MRP a priority?

The Wakil Rakyat should organize people into “working group for economic gain”. This could be done by “focus smart farming”, by facilitating the people to be self sufficient through ” providing business model and providing capital”.

Mind you – the INDIAN community are hundreds of miles ahead of Dayak and they have been given 1st allocation of RM$15 million through TEKUN to help jump start their youth in business. Just recently, the PM allocated RM$50 million for the same purpose to INDIAN.

Are we Dayak getting any? Of course NOT! That is because Dayak political leaders do NOT have such thinking and strategies for Dayak to compete into the 21st Century. Thus “MRP” even though is meaningful in the short run, it will never be a substitute to Dayak long term progress.

Conclusion

The worst thinking is when Peter Minos declared that Jabu is the “top gun” of Dayak and every must come from him and referred to him. Unfortunately -Peter Minos statement is the “truth”that Jabu wanted to hear. The real truth now is Jabu is obsolete in thinking and he has a very low bench mark set for Dayak.

That is why we Dayakbaru want: Change WE Must.

i) Nama anak indu tu udah bisi salah mimit. Enti apai ia bebetul berjiwa bumiputera tentu ia ngaga nama anak ia Marina anak Udau. Nama ga kebuah ia nambah nama Wong, ti berti berunsur Cina. Engka fikir Udau, senang anak ia bolih kerja ba kopmpeni Cina. Engka kaban tua Udau tu bisi unsur2 opurtunis mimit.

Tang bisi kita iban bernama Wong, baka Wong ak Judat (ADUN, JULAU) & Wong anak Sandom Nyuak (anak former ADUN JULAU). Sida tu betul tulin Iban, ukai anak penakan.

Ba penemu aku kitai bangsa bumiputera anang betukar (no change) ati lalu berpegai teguh ba Federal const. ; retinya semina anak berapai/berindai ka anak bumi swk oleh nyadi bumiputera. Anak penakan cina, tambi and enggau laut Malaya enda layak. Priviliges kitai tu exclusive baka ke udah disebut kaban aku dayaklama ba topik bukai.

Sida Tun Jugah (taja enda nemu macha), Francis Umpau, Temenggong Lawai Ijau kelia sigai patut dipuji laban sida tuai tu meri penemu ba Federal Const. Bumiputera Swk. Tuai rebak kelia panjai runding laban enggai ke bansa ngerebut tanah NCR kitai ke mimitnya tinggal.

Aku ka nanya penemu bala DB. kati kita ka magi tanah NCR enggau anak penakan cina, tambi, laut, melanau. Nama kebuah leboh bebini suba milih indu cina, tambi, pakistan. Kami indu iban, kayan, kenyah, melanau lebih bajik, educated, sexy ari bangsa bukai enda di contact. Nya asai kitai laban milih, sampai kami indu nyadi TEMAWAI LAMA.

Apai Iban indai Cina anak bansa Banci, Indai Iban apai Cina anak bansa Ciban. Indah Dayak jadi enggau Iban pen ukai bumiputra anang ke bansa Ciban & Banci. Ti baka tu nama kebuah ke nerima slogan 1Malaysia ti kitai enda ulih begulai becampur bansa ?

Sinu ga ninga sebana indu kitai Iban madah ke diri nyadi temawai lama, tang maioh ga indu jadi & Cina ngulih ke maioh duit, bisi jadi & ribai ngulih ke diau nyamai, jadi & melayu ngulih ke betudung enda empa panas. Aku udah meh wai ditinggal ambai laban jadi & bansa bukai, kitai ko enggau ukai selatan kitai begulai, barang ke ka meh enggau begulai.

Ti sayau ke status bumiputra anang meh jadi & bansa bukai. Badu agi kelakar ke tu. 1Malaysia slogan nadai guna mina ngelabur ka mata.

To my mind DB only see injustice, but at the same time refused justice.For example, the Federal goment provide facilities for SME but DB are too lazy to apply for the facilities, so stop the blaming games!!!!!!!!!

Timbalan Menteri Perdagangan dan Industri, Dato Jacob Dungau Sagan berkata, kerajaan dibawah Rancangan Malaysia KeSembilan (RMK-9) menyediakan peruntukan RM360 juta untuk pembangunan produk, persijilan dan promosi produk halal manakala RM538 juta lagi dibawah Rancangan Malaysia KeSepuluh (RMK-10).

Nuan tu pandai amai besebut ka utai enti diperati ka aku…lapa meh nuan enda nulis ka artikel ba DB ditu; nunjuk ka kami jalai (tips) deh…awaka ka kami ditu tau maju-mansang baka bansa bukai?

Auk..berapa iko ka bansa kitai Dayak udah bulih “peruntukan” ari pengawa “SME” nya deh..Uji nuan nulis serta “list them up” ditu….hehehehe…

Utai ka “bermillion/ berbillion” disebut nuan berapa mayoh ka ari jumlahnya bisi diberi tauka “allocate” ngagai bansa Dayak. Chunto: DCCI ngau Kooperasi Bansa Dayak deh? Sebut siti enti bisi pama meh…hehehehehe….
