Have you make any study or home work or proper assessment regarding your remark on this? If no, it is not applicable for me to make such conclusion.

Before make any public report, we shall make a proper study/analysis on it.

So far I know, most of the independent body complain that the Dayak Social Leader in rural area as well Dayak Candidate for BN YB is gomen hand pick. Not chosen by the rakyat on that particular area.

In previous article DB mention this a lot and some foreign comment on this has been posted here to prove DB article is right.

By right, we shall have a proper procedure or guideline to pick the Dayak Social Leader, that shall be base on SDNU study and approval. Not by outsider.

So can DB & SDNU do some thing on this procedure?

Than how to change the gomen that is corrupted too much and the leader that over due, CM 30 years plus in office and more than 70 years old?

How to make a proper check & balance of gomen to introduce dual-party system?

How to protect Dayak Right that have been taken without proper way, such:
1. Bup Ensera Iban ke abis lenyau ba Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka,
2. Rumah Dayak ke udah dirubuh seluruh Sarawak lalu enda abis digaga baru,
3. Nama Dayak dibuai dalam katogeri rakyat Malaysia,
4. 300 Case tanah NCR udah sepuluh tahun agi digantung ba court,
5. Dayak enda diasuh ngena jako Allah Taala nyembah betara,
6. Apai Iban Indai China tang enda disebut dalam golongan bumiputra,
7. Anak Penan 12 tahun ngandung lalu beranak tang ukai kena rogol ko perintah,
8. Pemansang Sarawak jauh amat tinggal laban Malaya taja pan hasil menoa Sarawak maioh,
9. Bansa Dayak kelalu amat tinggal dalam semoa segi ari bansa bukai,
10. Enggau beribu agi penusah Dayak ke bukai deka ditambah ditu.

Please do not depend on the government to do everything for you. Do it for yourself. You can even produce a guide for a longhouse and sell it for a profit. The ball is at everybody feet. The smart one will kick it.

I do not believe in fighting what cannot be undone or changed within that time-frame they are appointed for the job. If a penghulu is appointed for one year, so be it. It is that one year we are talking about. What can we do to improve his performance during the one year? We can ask two or three or even more agencies how to improve his performance. (State Secretary Office, Resident/District Office, AZAM or private institution – school of community leaders. Mark my words, someone will start one soon to make money.)

My views are:

a. AZAM in cooperation with the State Secretary Office must develop a better programme for the community leaders, one for the urban community leaders and one for the rural community leaders.

b. All those aspired community-leaders must obtain the diploma of community leadership before eligible for the appointment. Sometimes, we have to be tough to kind, not to the leaders but to the people. The people deserve to be better served and the public expect their money well spent and not wasted.

c. Besides, the adat book, a guide for urban leaders and a guide for rural community leaders be prepared for distribution or sale. The contents among others should include the following:

(1). The Adminstration of Sarawak Government and its organisational structure and chain of command.

(2). The Responsibilities and Duties of a community leader (Tuai Rumah).

(3). The suggested organisation of a village committee and sub-committees.

(4). The typical layout of a village/longhouse and its development/farm area.

(5). How to maintain contact, liaise and get assistance from the following:

(A) YB/politician.
(B) Government Servant.
(C) DO Office.
(D) L&S Office.
(E) Agriculture Office.
(F) Health Clinic.
(G0 Education Office.
(H) Banks.
(I) Others as relevant.

(6) How to conduct a meeting, write a minute and learn the layout of a minute.

(7) Management of time and making a time-table for the various community duties.

(8) Thrifty and saving.

(9) The Ten Commandments to a Better and More Prosperous Village.

(And so on.)

Never give up, dear friends but keep on looking for the best course of action.

Bala YB enda ibuh di ajar kitai pasal jako enggau penemu ke patut di pansut ka sida ba rumah panjai laban sida sigi nemu, nya kebuah sida ulih nyadi YB dipilih rayat. Ti sida semaia meri pemansang, tang semaia nya balang nya semina ngasoh rayat enda arap ke sida agi. Sida mai Poco-poco laban nya pengawa ke ngerindu ka kitai rumah panjai kemaya hari tu. Meri projek ke baribu dua nya siti pengawa ke ngelantang ka ati kitai di rumah panjai laban bisi ningal ka tungkus asi. Ari ke ngereja pengawa baka tu rayat ngumbai sida YB tu manah, nyamai enggau begulai enggau begagai lalu enda sumbung, nakal amat ngirup enda tinduk semalam malam. Nya meh ke ngasoh sida seruan dipilih maia ngundi. Manaaaaaaah YB kami tu.

Ti bala DB enggai meda YB ke bakatu ke nadai ulih mai ubah ke besai ngagai bansa kitai, manah madah terang ngagai pengundi di rumah panjai anang ngundi sida semina tegal pemanah sida enggau begulai tang undi pengari ke ulih mai ubah mai pemanah mai penglantang mai penyenang.
