WHAT DAYAKBARU BELIEF?

Written by gkm2020

Just my thoughts: Gone are the “Old Days Belief”

In the past and for the last 46 years has gone by, the majority of us have negative contracts; a “Bansa Negative” (BN) as promoted by BN government. A belief we developed at a much younger age which continues to be seen as a truth; “anang ngelaban perintah”.

This much implanted BN negative contract and ideology is a silent killer to our community’s success growth. It will contribute to sabotage each and every time until you have taken away its silent power. DBs are not “Bansa Naïve” anymore!

Don’t let others dictate your life

Now, do you still want others to detect your life and/or what your needs and wants? Deep inside there you can’t deny the truth unless you don’t have a heart. We’re already living in a modern society; the digital world in actual fact. I don’t believe life is about survival. I believe life is about finishing well for others. Is your father named BN?

Your future is in your hand; its your ultimate Vote to become Victorious

Your ultimate “VOTE” = “1Vote – 1Native Right”; “1Vote – 1NCR Land Right”; “1Vote – 1Native Cultural Integrity”; “1Vote – 1Native Court Right”; “1Vote – 1Indigenous Sovereignty”; “1Vote – 1Customary Rights”; “1Vote – 1Dayak Right”; “1Vote – 1Native Immunity”; “1Vote – 1Native Title”; “1Vote – 1Native Act”; and “1Vote At Par With Others”

Letting go our limitation and strengthen our esprit-de-coupship

Being stuck in old beliefs or emotions and “old ideology” or “old paradigm” can result in your life not working the way you want. You are unable to see or hear advice from others including the spirit world or if you do you are not able to follow it.

Change our belief system if we want to resolve our “reasons”

To “Change WE Must” you need to be able to say yes to let it go. This is a choice you can make for yourself. Changing your belief system is easy when you have reasons for doing so and you agree that you want to change. So you need to be aware of the reasons why you want to change.

Once you have your reasons then you need to say “Yes” to changing the beliefs and letting go of the old patterns. I was talking to some “youth” who was stuck in their life and it was not moving the way they wanted. When I ask if they wanted to let go, it triggered doubt in them. They did not know if they really wanted to let go or not.

Do you deserve success, prosperity and be at par with other races?

For how long have you have seen, wait and worked hard i.e. right from our ancestral days and not seen the results? We have been misguided and overshadowed by others because of our limited belief, naïve loyalty “Auk Tuan” and lack of direction or vision, and “others” have taken advantage of our “loyalty and trust” to destroy us.

Policies must benefit the “rakyat” first

In the past the “old folks” may not realized it because only a fraction of them are educated and/or barely knows “ABC”. I can’t blame them but I do have respect for them because they do have that courage (Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban), have guts and braver than our current leaders.

When leaders set policy(s), they must analyze it well and not simply “vote for it”. These policies must benefit the “rakyat” because the “rakyat” come first.

Leaders are expendable for sake of our next generation

Leaders should think about thinking rationally. Our leaders must lead beyond reason not just following orders or bureaucratic reasons and systematic policies. Leaders are expendable for sake of our next generation. Leaders are important but “rakyat” come first. If they can’t then they must step down and/or vote out!

Change must happen if our calls are not rectified or ignore

Government Transformation Plan (GTP) is not enough if the “politicians” and/or “leaders” cannot deliver it, and execute it equitably and accountably.

When you are ready to take the next step, you will begin to transform a negative into a positive. You have been in this binding contract for years, change is not always easy, but it is possible. Change is also about “Community Transformation Through New Belief”.

I presume we all have identified some and/or many issues of the BN contracts

What do you need to do to move forward? Before you take that next important step you might need to resolve your fears or resistance to “Change WE Must”. This is okay, it happens to all of us when faced with something uncomfortable and much discriminated or marginalized.

Change can be very uncomfortable but “Change” must come to defend, protect and empower our “native sovereignty rights”. Are you not indigenous?

How to take action on “YES” – Change WE Must!

Taking the action to release and let go requires that you say “Yes” to what you want to let go of. When you ask this question, you need to listen to your internal voice to her the yes or no. When the answer is yes then you are able to make the change. However, if the answer is no, then you need to come up with reasons why you want to change and make it a yes.

To get the reasons why you want to change, first write down what you want, i.e. the opposite of what is happening in your life right now. Make sure that the description is adequate so that if you needed to explain it to some else, they would understand.

  • Next, have two columns under what you want. One is “Why Change” and the other is “Why Not Change”?
  • Next, list all you can under both columns. As you do this you begin to see what is holding you back.

Once completed, for each of the reasons under the “Why Not Column”, ask do you really want these. If the answer is “Yes”, work out how you can keep it even if you change, or whether you are prepared to let it go. Until you are able to release most of the reasons under the why not column or know how you can change and still keep them, then you will not change.

Once you have more reasons to Change, it will make it easier for you to change and let go

That way you can “Let Go” is to see yourself as changed. In other words, do like actors do (politicians are actors too) and act out as if the Change has occurred.

As you keep doing this the subconscious will then understand than accept the change. Once accepted in the subconscious the belief and limiting emotions and thoughts will be released and you will be back on track.

How can we achieve this “Change Transformation”?

There is a lightness you might experience by transforming a barrier to your success. When facing adversity, there is a potential for equal or greater success. By making this move you have said “Yes” to you. Congratulations for standing up to a barrier and doing the work around this issue.

Activity:

The first part of making a change is identifying the underlying factors which prevent you from taking action to grow your business with ease. What keeps you from reaching your peak potential easily and with confidence?

Write down everything that comes to mind concerning your barrier to success. On your list, does any one item feel more true, or more powerful, than the others? Is there a particular person who was not able to give you the approval you needed? Is your primary barrier connected to the one person you were not able to get approval from?

Look at the barrier you described

You have read some in this blog and/or elsewhere. What does it mean? When you look at your new meaning, once again jot it down, what does that mean? Let’s take it one step further, write down what that means. Now you are close to your core issue. It’s “Change WE Must”!

Fill out the new contract with your issue. If it is attributed to someone or party, write that person’s name or the party entity on the contract. Take a moment and reflect on the feelings you might have about letting go of this belief.

You might have anger, sadness, grief or disappointment. What you feel is okay. Now, your call to make that “ultimate vote” when it come your way; don’t worried of the propaganda. It’s the same propaganda that you have heard for the last 46 years.

Ones must finish well

You have fulfilled those terms a long time ago. Free yourself from this implied contract “anang negelaban perintah BN” which has been holding you back from reaching your peak potential with confidence and ease. What happen to the outstanding 200 NCR Lands court case?

Don’t you worry, everybody died when time comes but ones must finish well. Are you not worried of your next generation benefit? Will you fight for their rights? Or just fight for your few “ringgits” and “voting party”?

The next step is powerful!!!

Realize you have the ability to be free of this self imposed limiting barrier to your success, propel and prosper. You will choose to move forward when the status quo is not working for you anymore. Are you ready?

This is our moment to take action – “The Battle of Native Rights”

Destroy and disengage BN negative contract. We have been bound by this agreement for too long. Tear up the contract, it is null and void. Now position yourself well for the incoming general election (not erection) “The Battle of Native Right”.

Conclusion

How would you like to release yourself from this BN old contract? Do you want to tear it up? Burn it. Or is there something else which would make the release significant? Whatever works for you is okay.

Once you have done that, take a moment to reflect on the experience. Do you notice a “Change”? What is it? Recognize you, your family or your loved one and your next generation deserve success and victory. With this action, you have taken one step toward your greatness. So DB, be victorious!

Thank you and Merry Christmas!

    Hello kaban blogger,

BN IS CHANGING FOR GOOD, DAYAK IS IN BN SAFE HAND

As days or months and years passed by, I agreed we must change. But then what drive us for the change. BN had been studying and analysing all the parameters carefully before list all the procedures for the change.

BN concept or policy had been changing; pertinently in term of education, health care, investment and defence.

    A) In Education, liberation was realised as early in 1980s. The greatest thing the govt had been doing is the introduction of KEMAS in the kampong and longhouse. In every longhouse KEMAS set up kindergarten for the early education. KEMAS also provided fund for the JKKK. DB GROUP, DONT YOU REALISED THIS THE CHANGE IS GOOD FOR DAYAK.

B)In health care, the Malaysian enjoyed free medical facilities. We even given subsidized facilities to the foreigner. Recently the FLYING DOCTOR SERVICE is continued to serve the rural population. The clinic and the hospital are upgraded with standard in par with the west. DR JOHN PLEASE VISIT SEBAUH CLINIC TO SEE THE LATEST DEVEOLPMENT OF THE HEALTH CARE THERE.

    C) Off course we need world class defence system. We have radar system emplaced in strategic position in the whole country to detect the incoming missile.

BUT FRIENDS BLOGGER HERE, OUR PARAMOUNT CHIEF TAN SRI JABBOO & DAYAKLAMA GROUP ARE INSTALLING CYBER SHIELD TO PROCTECT OURSELVES FROM DAYAKBARU ATTACK. DL IS ALSO EQUIPED WITH STEALTH FIGHTERS TO MAKESURE DAYAK DEVELOPMENT IS WITHIN THE SAFE HAND OF BN.

    Nya aja kaban.

Well said! The fear to “ngelaban perintah” is so strong that it is overwhelming and took control of our lives. We are like the baby elephant when at young was tied to a pole with a strong iron chained at the leg. At first it tried to break free but the iron chain was too strong. After a few years of unsuccessful attempts to break free the baby elephant finally gave up trying. Now when the baby elephant has grown up to be big and mighty the keeper only use a flimpsy rope to tie the elephant’s leg to the pole. The keeper knows that the elephant will not break free because the elephant still thinks that the rope is an iron chain. Are the Dayaks been so indoctrinated to the saying that “Dayak are lazy, stupid and that we can never lead?” Are the Dayaks still chain by this belief? Take courage and overcome your fear! Even if you don’t believe that it will make any difference to you because “Nadai guna ngelaban. Kitai tu udah tuai. Nganti maya ka parai aja” Think of your grandchildren and the next generations. Let them have a better future.

    Dear friends,

    1. All Sarawakians want to see all Sarawakians doing well – healthy, happy and prosperous. Together we prosper. Together we march forward.
Together we live in peace and harmony.

    2. Every journey begins with the first step and every man or family or community should realise that. The stronger you are, the harder you walk, the more time you walk, the farther you walk, the farer you reach.

    3. Having heard what Dr. John had said, one tends to feel that Dayaks are a pitiful lot, being left behind and being taken advantage of by other races. It is so easy to put the blame on others who also have to struggle and walk hard to get to where they are now at, on the life-journey.

    4. As I have said before, Dr. John and the Dayak community should make 10 new resolutions for 2010 as the starting point to practise and achieve what they dream of. Talking without proper objectives set to achieve and without good habits to practise, I see no future for the Dayak community through the Fight for Native Rights, even if all Dayak adults are each given RM one million to start their lives now. The money could be gone within three years. So which should come first. Good habits and consistent practice must come first.

    5. What are these good resolutions/good habits the Dayaks should adopt and practise starting now. That should be the NEW Change and Change We Must.

    6. Dr. John, the ball is at your feet. But if you feel shy to formulate the ten resolutions, let me start the ball rolling and you, I beg, should refine them. Here they go, the ten resolutions:

(1). Thou shall be responsible for your own destiny in your journey in life.
(2). Thou shall not blame others but work with others to farther yourselves.
    (3) Thou shall work hard, earn as much money as you can, save as much money as you can and invest as much money as you can.
    (4) Thou shall sacrifice personal comfort and refrain from wasting your money on unproductive activities but do everything you can to give your children a good education. You cannot rely on others or the Government to assist you all the time. You must know the Government is providing your children education from primary to secondary school. Any farther asssistance is a bonus. You have to save money for your children education.
(5). Thou shall educate your family and yourself to be thrifty and do not follow others who can afford or better off than you are to spend on luxurous things. A sen saved is a sen earned.
(6). Thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself. Do not isolate yourself and treat others as your enemies. Learn from one another on how to move on the journey to a better life.
(7). Thou shall be self-sufficient and be able to stand on your own two feet. If you have to seek help, make sure that the help you seek is only temporary. Be ready to make good and repay the help you receive. Do not take things for free. Pay back when you are in the position to do so. You should aim to be able to render help or assistance rather than be a receiver all the time. Be a giver too. Only when you start giving you will realise, how good it is to be able to stand on your own two feet and be able to be of help to others.

(8). Thou shall aim to be your own boss and after working for others enough years and gaining sufficient experiences and expertise, go for your own business. Be cautious, be prudent and above all you should not be greedy in going into business. Try not to work for others all the while, especially when you know you can do the business yourself. Then, you will learn how tough it is to be your boss, at the same time you will learn not to envy others.

(9). Thou shall be a good Dayak leader, willing to sacrifice for the Dayak community, especially now that you think the Dayaks are lacking behind. For those super-rich Dayaks and educated Dayaks, leave your fortunes for the Dayaks and spend time training and educating Dayaks. Set a good example for other Dayaks to follow to be able to give generously for a great cause. All good Dayak leaders should join hands and make a pact to help their community. Let Tun Jugah Foundation and the likes, lead the way. Put your resources together and build the first Dayak University in Sarawak.

(10). Thou shall pray to God to give the Dayaks, the wisdom, energy and the endurance to journey on, regardless on how tough the going is, the Dayaks must keep going, not forgetting, God helps those who help themselves.

Merry Christmas and a Great Future ahead for the Dayaks.

Merry Christmas to you and family too, Dr. John.

Hello Telaga Kumang and DL-BN Bloggers,

DB members don’t need a big government machinery(s) to conduct the analysis; the “rakyat” are NO longer stupid “Seeing Is Believing” on where the Dayak status now compare to other races….heheheheehe…..

One question for you; Bah bisi agi “Temengong” bansa kitai Dayak diatu? Do you know, what is the “power” of our “Temengong” in the early days before we joined “Malaya”?

B)In health care, the Malaysian enjoyed free medical facilities. We even given subsidized facilities to the foreigner. Bah berapa iko kitai Dayak udah nyadi “Flying Doctor” serta berempu ka lesen “Helicopter Services” deh???….hehehehehe….

    C) Off course we need world class defence system. We have radar system emplaced in strategic position in the whole country to detect the incoming missile.

Hahahaha….pedis rekong aku ketawa kadiri….even mighty “Iraq” ulih kaput in the Gulf War….what more to say Malaysia….hehehehehe…

By the way, how come utainya belaku dalam 2007 maya Najib was still a Defense Minister nyau diatu baru nemu deh? World Class Defense System keno…auk bedau beperang kitai tu….barangnya tau lenyau ba siang ari……hehehehehehe….

Nadai meh kitai Dayak bisi beri urang kontrak ngadu ka nya not even DCCI…..hehehehehe…

Hahahaha….tucum kadiri…. ninga “Jabboo Cyber Shield” keno but DB is more advanced than yours; we have installed “Dejavu Cyber Shield” to counter-attack, defend and protect our DB special squads, platoons, battalions, regiments and divisional grassroots from “BN Tyrannical Virus”…..hehehehehe….

And we already have a “software BN anti-virus”…..takut amat kita ka DB neh???

    Dear friends,

    1. There is no doubt the BN Government has done a lot for the rural people, the poor, and the Dayaks. Our health programme is one of the best in the world and most poor and sick are receiving some form of care and treatment through our health-care programmes.

    2. But from what I gather, Dr. John and many DB members are not happy about the Dayaks are being left behind and could be taken advantage of by other races. If these are true, how do you address the issues and find the solutions.

    3. It is this unhappiness and dissatifaction that all Dayaks should discuss and come out with solutions to make Dayaks improve their life-styles and feel more at ease.

    4. From my point of view, the remedy should start with the Dayaks themselves to CHANGE their attitude/mind-set and HABITS. The suggested ten resolutions/habits were discussed in my last comment. The Dayak-leaders must work together, putting the community’s interest above their own interests. That sacrifice on the part of the Dayak leaders could be hard to achieve. But SACRIFICE, they must. Everything depends on LEADERSHIP. Yes or No.

    5. There is no point harping on other matters when the real and actual problems are not tackled and solved.

    Merry Christmas.

    Hi All,

Have been taking a self-imposed sabbatical due to the various unsavory happenings in this blog. But today I read a wonderful piece which was written and summarized into a concise statement.

To Equaliser on December 22nd, 2009 12:56 pm:

You are that man. If we have met i would shake your hand. Being from the newer (not necessarily younger) generation, I believe that what you have written is exactly what we observe. Those points you have raised is exactly the reason why the younger generations feel disillusioned. Its not like we have much of a choice choosing between bad and worst. And why do you think the younger generation do not want to vote? Same reason.

So with your permission, just in case, I would like to use your thoughts to post in other non-dayak blogs with you credited of course.

    Christmas came early this year.

Learn From Our Past, Don’t Stuck In Your Old Political Paradigm

First thing first, to believe in “Change WE Must”, don’t change in the same old direction!

We often wonder why some people seem to have everything in their life and some people just get disappointments.

It seems unfair to us at times that there could be such discrimination and marginalization that some of us get everything that they dream of and some of us never seem to get anything that we ever hoped for.

Some of us were promised with “conditional election goodies” (mee segera) but after the election, they got to wait for another election(s) “carry forward goodies” of election until it last 46 years.

    BN betrayed us!

But others get away with our “trust” and betray our “belief” and how long more would we want to wait? Until year 2020 or 2050 and/or another 46 years or wait until your 60 years NCR Land Leasing Contract matured; hope by then you’re still around??

We often blame external factors for our disappointments and frustration, God, bad luck or just any person to whom we can shift the blame. But the truth is that there is no one to blame but us. Why?

If you succeed in “Change WE Must” it is because of “You”, and if you fail it is also because of you. If you just stop for a moment and think about it you must realize that others might be doing things a bit differently in their ways that is why they get everything that they want out of life.

Unfortunately, Bansa Dayaks tends to deny and ignore it and start to point their finger on others, some to their own fellow indigenous. So next time, do your own research, feasibility study and analyze every “BN Conditional Election Contract” before you jot-down your “X” vote.

One Vote – One Native Right

Vote for your Native Rights (including your: Native Court Right; NCR Land Right; Native Cultural Integrity Right; Native Property Right; Native Title Right; Native Act; Native Land Trust Board; Native Quota & Stimulus Budget Rights; Native School & College; Native Political Right; Native Sovereignty Right; and Indigenous People Rights) and your next generation NOT them again!

BN may change but “government remains” and the only thing that changed is; change of management, economy for rakyat and new policies.

This is a democratic country, just you remember that. It corporate world we called that “reverse takeover” and then we restructure it and change the management.

We need to think differently, if we want changes

Yes, accepting changes is about thinking differently. What they do differently is the way they think; a new perspective and/or prospects of development. What you think and what you believe in are the two main things that decide whether you succeed or you fail and/or you remain backward or you’re at par with other races.

People who succeed are able to succeed only because they think differently than the rest, their belief system is different than the rest of the population. And how do they think differently? The only way they succeed is because they believe with all their heart that they are meant to succeed.

They believe in themselves whole heartedly, without even a shadow of doubt. Most of us who do not succeed would always have negative doubts about ourselves; we would have a doubt in some corner of our heart about our capability to succeed.

When you do not believe that you can succeed, nobody else can. Self-doubt can be a very powerful thing, even though you do not realize, it can affect the way you go about things, it can affect how you work towards your goal.

Example, lots of people were skeptical of DS Idris Jala’s performance when he took over the MD’s office (as IJ is a native…..) to turn-around a “bankrupt MAS” into a flying colors again. If IJ did not believe in himself he would not have been able to work relentlessly till he succeeded. He would have given up after a few times if he had thought that he did not have it in him to succeed.

The only reason that he succeeded was because he knew that he was capable of doing it, he believed in himself “aku ulih” and that is what drove him to be successful. Call it the law of attraction or anything else, but it is absolutely true. Your thoughts and your beliefs shape you as a person.

    Believing is seeing

What you believe is what you become, if you think that you have limitations then you will. If you believe that you are not meant to be rich or progressive native, you would not be.

The sooner you realize this, the better it would be for you. Have an open mind. In order to change this pattern of constant negativity and disappointments you must:

    a. Try to always stay positive. You must make it a habit to think of positive things at all times and push away any negative thoughts from your mind.

    b. Have a clear goal in mind and believe without a doubt that you can achieve this goal.
Human mind is a very powerful thing, once you know how to make use of it and cultivate a positive belief system, you too can be successful.

    Thank you.
