Malaysia living on money pump in by government – it is bad.
Taken from The Malaysian Insider
Dayakbaru:
We must explain to the people that Malaysia economy is artificial – ” it is supported by money pump in by the government into the economy”. It is not real growth. The real situation now is very little money is moving around and available in the market. Many people are just keeping their money but others pump out their money overseas. Corrupted politicians are hiding their money overseas – they are not reinvesting in Malaysia.
Najib will not be able to stay for long undrr this situation to lead the government. BN is bound to lose the next election. In Sarawak, the cash that Taib got will be used to buy vote. If Dayak continue not to be able to change their ways -the Dayak stuggle would go down to only $10 -$50.00 per vote. But situation has changed and I want Dayakbaru to push for that change so we may succeed to take our community from being ‘marginalized” by BN.
Let us get rid of “Perintah BN Munoh Rakyat”. Read more

BN bound for Defeat, says Ku Li
Teken from The Malaysian Insider
Dayakbaru:
UMNO supreme council members are asking why is Ku Li free to do and say anything he wants. The reality is he is royal and he is at the top of the ladder in Ketuan Melayu. Nothing will happen to him. KU Li doen’t play wayang kulit but UMNO is.
Dayakbaru – try to understand this situation: a Malay government in Kelantan, Islamic and they needed help. What is the Mulsim Malay UMNO is saying – I cannot give you royalty for oil. Wang eshan yes. But if I give you, I must give you through “legal means” – direct to the people – through UMNO. Then you know how much of that money would be lost inside personal UMNO pocket.
$3.4 billion for Sarawak
The Sarawak BN component party politicians are nervous now – thinking of ways how to land some money from the $3.4 billion into their pocket. They will form $2 company and looking for partners etc and promised the partners that they can get some part of the project but at a fee. That is BN “kantau”. Think of it carefully, then you realize what is left for the rakyat. All those BN goons are imaging their share in the money to be given. Of course Taib and cronies will “sapu ” most of it but still some BN members are happy with the bone left over. The point is they would sell the interest and rights of the Dayak to earn their money. It is politics without principle s and conscience. Read more

What is Malaya Malay Party doing with Sarawak Dayak based party SPDP-PRS?
Written by Dr. John Brian Anthony
But seriously Dayakbaru – when I write a specific topic some of you just ignore the topic and talk about something that is not related to the topic at hand. In the end , the discussion become so out of topic to the point of being useless for learning. Please learn to read and understand the issues in the topic before you put down your thought.
Jabu say Malaya party cannot come to Sarawak
When a man doesn’t understand what he is saying – like jabu and he is always putting everything in the context of politics he now looks off colour. Tengku Adenan – UMNO Sec Gen is coming to Sarawak to help solve SPDP problem. Jabu says Anwar and PKR are “orang Malaya and Party from Malaya” and they don’t have business in Sarawak politics. Why is Tengku Adenan here – is he not from Malaya and a Malay. Can Tengku go to visit the longhouse? I tell you jabu would volunteer to arrange for that if Tengku wanted to – he will not understand what he has said about PKR Malay leaders bringing bad omen for the Dayak in the long house. Jabu will think that if it is a an UMNO Malay it is alright because in his twisted mind it is not the same. We know there is no category difference between them.
Take at look at what is happening now in Sarawak. Do you really think that BN Dayak are capable to solve their own problem. Read more

WHAT DOUBLE STANDARD??
MalaysianInsider
AG’s double standards in Al Islam case
FEB 26 — Christians and Catholics in particular are likely to have one major topic of discussion when they gather this weekend in churches throughout the country, and that is the decision of the authorities in taking no further action against two journalists from Al Islam who allegedly desecrated the Eucharist.
The Eucharist is a Christian sacrament considered to be a commemoration of the Last Supper, the final meal that Jesus Christ shared with his disciples before his arrest and eventual crucifixion.
Also called the Holy Communion, Catholics and many Christians perform this sacrament at every Mass or service. Read more

JABU ACCUSED OF USING ‘SCARE TACTICS’
Zulhaidah Suboh Report:
BETONG – Stanny Embat, a retired senior police officer, has accused Deputy Chief Minister Alfred Jabu of using ’scare tactics’ against the people in order to maintain their support in the Layar constituency.
“Jabu is not doing any thing to help the people of Betong, whom he represents for the past 35 years. He has not helped the people to improve their economic well-being,” said Embat at a political gathering organised by PKR at Melayu Ili near here on Sunday.
“No doubt there are physical developments in Betong, but the people have remained poor with no sources of incomes,” he said.
“Jabu has no more idea to help the people, so enough is enough. He must be replaced,” said Embat, who is likely to be a PR candidate to challenge Jabu in the Layar constituency in the next election. Read more

Post Taib Era: What is in for Dayak?
Written by Dr. John Brian Anthony
This is a big topic which has been playing in my mind for sometime. What role will the Dayak play after Taib retire / expire from politics. Are the Dayak ready to play a new role? How will Dayak PKR able to influence the Dayak after Taib?
With all the above questions – my deep sense tell that the Dayak have to come out with daring innovative solution in order to play a leadership role in Sarawak politics. It is not only about sacrifices that the leadership must make but what types of sacrifices will lead to answer that will put Dayak dignity back in Sarawak. I try to put things in perspective to cut down the long writing.
SPDP – PRS merger
Dayak would expect no Chinese – Dato Seri Tiong, Larry Sng, Ting Pek King, Edgar Ong inside the merged party. That also mean, the party will not have any Chinese members. Will the new party get Chinese support in the election. In the Dayak areas, how big can the Chinese vote be?
Who will lead the new entity?-
I think this is quite straight forward. Who ever has the money is in a better position to lead the party. It need not be Dr. James Masing or Mawan. Who knows it can even be Peter Nansien! He has the education, the experience and the money. Read more

NAJIB VISIT SPARK SPECULATION OVER STATE POLLS
MalaysianInsider
KUCHING, Feb 25 — Hardly has the dust settled on Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s whirlwind visit to Sarawak early this week, he will be back on March 2 to officially open the 12th Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Convention here.
On the same day the prime minister is also scheduled to open the newly-completed RM200 million Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), the venue for the triennial general meeting of the backbone of the state Barisan Nasional (BN).
While his recent two-day trip, mostly to visit remote longhouses in Sri Aman, Saratok and Kanowit and the riverine bazaar of Simunjan, was in keeping with an earlier pledge to make frequent visits to Sarawak, the forthcoming one will be to gauge the people’s mood in preparation for the state election.
His presence at the PBB event, apparently to get an accurate picture of the reality on the ground, is expected to give an indication of the timing of the state polls, due by July next year at the latest. Read more

NCR LAND DISPUTE CLAIMS RM110 MILLION!!
Keruah Usit – MalaysiaKini
24 Feb 2010
Antidote Sarawak Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud’s land policies have suffered another humiliating setback, barely a month after the state government’s landmark defeats in court to Agi anak Bungkong and Mohd Rambli Kawi.

The Sarawak government has now been ordered to pay compensation to Amit Salleh and 663 other Native Customary Rights (NCR) landowners in Suai, near Bintulu. The natives have claimed compensation amounting to some RM110 million.
The court found that the state government had illegally stripped these Malay, Kedayan and Melanau communities of their NCR land. As a result, the native communities had lost valuable teak and sentang trees they had planted. Read more

Sabah and Sarawak do not have any school in the nation top 20
Taken from Malaysia Today
Teachers” Union Association Sabah / Sarawak
William Ghani Bina, the chairman of the Teachers’ Union Association for Sabah and Sarawak Joint committee said that the teachers of the 2 states are ‘very insulted and demoralized’ b the recent announced of the top 20 schools in the country which did not include any schools from the 2 states and that teachers and parents have been calling him over the issue.
It is a great insult to Sabah and Sarawak
He said “They said the announcement of the 20 highest-performing schools came as a great insult to teachers in both Sabah and Sarawak. The results were demoralising to them. They felt strongly that 43 years after Sabah and Sarawak became part of Malaysia, the national education policy has failed. Read more

BN launched their campaign to win Dayak vote – Najib visit longhouses
Written by Dr. John Brian Anthony
Election is near – Sarawak is BN fixed deposit
Many speculate that election is near – with so many visit from the Federal Cabinet, and now the Prime Minister. They will bring all the “mee segara” to instaill confidence of the Dayak people on behalf of the government.
Najib has a big stake in Sarawak – meaning UMNO has a big interest in Sarawak. Remember, sarawak is BN “FIXED DEPOSIT”. The situation in Malaya is not as rosy as BN painted. Perak will fall to Pakatan Rakyat with bigger majority. Trengganu, Johore and Pahang are some of the States that BN is a risk of losing many seats.
Opposition road to Putra Jaya is wide open – shouild BN lost its two third majority in Sarawak
Therefor it is most logical to ensure that Sarawak remain Federal government fixed deposit. To do that it must begin with the State election. BN must win the State election resoundingly. If not, life at the Federal capital or rather the Opposition road to Putra jaya would be eide open. Read more

SPDP -PRS Merger – to strengthen BN Dayak
Written by Dr. John Brian Anthony
Dayakbaru:
This is an interesting turn of event as the “unseen hand” is working very hard to strengthen BN and hold on th power. This idea was mooted a few years ago but for some reason is was not moving forward. Now the unseen hand is forcing the issue.
Why is the 5SPDP members forcing the issues?
Taib realized that Opposition Dayak is gaining strength. Outwardly the BN Dayak dogs bark saying that PKR will not win any Dayak seat. I think Taib has better system to collect info and would not rely on the Dayak ball carriers in BN to tell him that all is well. These 5 SPDP members has always been a PBB “mole” like in a secret service “doble agent”.
When the boss Taib felt that he needed his double agent to serve him, then the Uban will instruct them on what to do. There is no risk involved as Uban will not do anything to these 5 DUN members.
Is PRS ready?
Dr. James Masing is “personally” indepted to Taib ( berhutang budi). PRS is not ready but what can Masing do now. His PRS wil not be happy but UBan is famous for being insensitive to anyone except himself. Question will be raised by PRS members: remember BN members are always concerned about their personal position – will they be displace by this new comers. Will these new comers become more powerful ( as ministers) and that the PRS loyal supporter will be push to a lower level of the pecking rank in the party. Read more

Dayak – Armed Forces University is looking for You
Taken from Borneo Post
Dayakbaru:
Our YBs are sometime too full of “shit” that they cannot even see the opportunities for Dayak entering the Military College University to serve the country.
If the YB has done a good job by communicating this info, then is the Military College University intakes based on “racial” preference again to complete the Malay agenda? We have too much experience in this false hope and I do hope that arm are more honest and less politicking.
Iron Fist – acting like “intelligence Agent”
Why is JASA not explaining such info into the long house and engage in drinking coffee and solicit information to undermine the Opposition. Funny thing is when Opposite organized ceramah then JASA would organized one to next to the Opposition to put fear on those who attend the function.
Kemas will walk around with camera etc to put fear on the people to discourage them to listen to the Opposition views. What is all this – this is called the IRON FIST of BN. They are eager to put Opposition into problems.
Now read the article below and see whether you want Dayak Youth to join the Armed Forces. Hopefully our youth can climb up to a General Rank – after 47 years in Malaysia, Dayak have never got into a General post. Is that a fair representation of the various races in the Armed Forces? Read more

UMNO admit that it has neglected non-Malays
Taken from The Malaysian Insider
Dayakbaru
I am not impressed by Najib admission that non Malays are NOT going to UMNO to get their problem solved because UMNO really do not want to solved non Malays problem. UMNO is focus on furthering UMNO elites agenda.
Damage to Sabah / Sarawak – cannot be healed in a short time
There are too many to list down – UMNO injustices gave us the feeling of “Why are we not pulling out of Malaysia now?”. But how could we – UMNO has dominated the Armed Forces, Police, Court with Malays and NOT Malaysian?
UMNO dominated the Federal and State Civil Service to the point delivery of assistance and execution of policies are diverted to serve a singular race interest.
Where and what is New Economics Policy to Dayak? If the Dayaks has benefited from the NEP why are we the poorest community in Malaysia and also why are we not treated as equal with Malays. UMNO talked BUMIPUTERA, grab the economics cake and leave us Dayak poor to the bone and well under develop as a community compare to other races: ownership of business, holding high position in government etc.
Now then you can read Najib “bullshit below ” and he is coming to the longhouse with the compliance of the Dayak in BN to fool the Dayak people yet again.
What do we have now?
- Ketuanan Melayu
- Keagungan Bangsa Melayu
- Islamization and Supremacy of the Sultan systems.
How could UMNO possibly change that?
No – UMNO cannot change that as long as UMNO – Malay dominated party elect the Prime Minister. UMNO speak with near perfect sense but at the end of the day UMNO will change the rule to benefit them only. Look at Perak – who decides the government – the people or the court? Read more

Winning hearts and minds of the people – JASA
Taken from Malaysia Today
Written by: Raja Petra Kamarudin
Note: Let me close by giving you a hint. The ‘secret weapon’ Umno is deploying is called JASA and is headed by Fuad Hassan, IGP Musa Hassan’s brother. Now, can the opposition please do some work for a change and look into this.
War of perception
In case many of you do not quite understand what is presently going on in Malaysia, allow me to enlighten you. Malaysia is going through a civil war. Yes, a civil war. But while other countries fight their civil wars with guns, we fight ours in the sphere of perception. But it is still a civil war of sorts, only without blood spilled on the streets.
A revolution is going on
Say what you like but there is a revolution going on. And the populace are revolting against their government. But the populace have wisely chosen the ballot to the bullet. “Pilihan raya dan bukan pilihan jalan raya,” as Hishamuddin Rais would say — meaning elections to the choice of the streets. Read more
