Now Unggah strat to join in the fray of telling us only half truth. The Government always talk about things that people like to hear but the government action is another thing. The Malay says: “Cakap tidak serupa bikin”.
When did the Government call for consultation with NGOs that are really working for the Dayak cause. More often then not the Government choose to label the Dayak NGOs as “opposition” etc. Does the Government really think that NGOs should be “Pak Turut”. We have one Pak Turut in Sarawak, that is more then enough.
When the Government talk about Konsep Rumah Panjang Baru, only Government controlled friendly NGOs are invited. The consultation is selective rather then representative. The process is exclusive instead of inclusive. The Government just want to meet “syarat” the bear minimal requirement for consultation on Dayak issues but they have the gut to lie / bluff the people of very Sarawak.
Change WE Must. We must stop this manipulation by the Government on the consultation process of Dayak issues.
KUCHING – Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Dato Sri Douglas Uggah Embas today stressed that the government is prepared to meet with Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) on issues regarding the environment and indigenous people.
“It has been the policy of Barisan Nasional (BN) government, to engage NGO on all environmental issues, including those affecting the indigenous people including the Penan,” he told Sarawak Update.
Uggah said: “We fully endorsed James Masing statement in London, and our Ministry have always been open to the exchange of views between government and NGO.”
Consultation with stakeholders has been the policy of BN government before any major policies or programme are implemented on the ground, he added.
“This is to ensure that the impact of the (project) will not cause any undesirable result,” he explained.
Dr Masing said the state government never ran away from NGOs, but “protesting like yesterday was pathetic as we have engaged many times with NGOs on the issue of Penan.”
LONDON: The Sarawak state government is always ready to engage with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to discuss the Penan issue, Land Development Minister Datuk Seri Dr James Masing said.
He said the state government has been engaging with NGOs from all over the world, including the United Kingdom and the European Union, through discussions and site visits on how it handled the Penan people.
“We have nothing to hide and what we are doing now is for the good of the community,” he said on the sidelines of the Inaugural Oxford Global Islamic Branding and Marketing Forum here Tuesday.
Dr Masing said the state government never ran away from NGOs, but “protesting like yesterday was pathetic as we have engaged many times with NGOs on the issue of Penan.”
On Monday, a group called Survival International gathered in front of the building where the forum is being held to express their concern about the Penans.
Dr Masing said the state government believed that the younger generation of the Penan should be given the chance to move forward with the rest of Sarawakians.
He said there were 16,000 Penans, of which 99% had been settled and another 300 Penans were provided with areas where they could hunt.
Schools were built to provide education to the younger generation, he added.
“They can accuse us of not looking after them (Penan), but we are giving them options,” he said.
Dr Masing said he believed that the motive of the protest was more economic rather than environmental.
He said the protest might be influenced by commodity producers like soy bean and rapsead which compete with palm oil in the export market.
Conclusion
Dr. James is always barking to protect his master. Dr. James has caused a lot of harm to Dayak future by his single-mindedness to ensure self survival. Dr. James has no plan or agenda for dayak. All he doesis to milk the economics return he got from his political position.
Change WE Must. Get PRS out from the rural Dayak areas.

BN under Yangdikasihi is still rock solid in Sarawak.
This according to opinion polls conducted by UNIMAS.The polls suggest that the main supporters of BN are the Bumiputra group esp. the Dayaks. Infact it not wrong to say that Sarawak BN coalition is formed by the Dayaks community for the Dayaks by the Dayaks.Any one the like of DB who opposed the Dayak formed gomen must be out of thier mind and considered traitor to the community.
While the result of the recent Sibu by-election may have cast some doubt over the BN influence in Sarawak, a recent independent poll by UNIMAS confirmed beyond doubt that Sarawakian electorate is still solidly behind BN.

If you believe in the poll conducted by UNIMAS, then you will also believe that “janit can fly”.

This minister also has started to learn the character of the typical BN YBs.
Anyway, it is still ok. It is still better than not telling the truth at all. Half a truth means 50% of the message is true which is so much better than nil truth.
But how long can they survive by telling the half truth at the times? These YBs might be able to fool the Ibans but not the Chinese. Once the younger Ibans could see the logical reasons for not supporting the government, differentiating the truth and falsehood, then there could be possibility of toppling the Bn in the State.

He compared DB bloggers with CCOs…COMMUNIST GUERRILLAS .Communist normally operate at night visiting longhouses folks with thier clandestine struggle & underground activities.
So is it okay to addrress DB as CCOs?

This is a particularly important read for Iban Johor and Dayak Lama. There is no personal grudge against your gang, but I sincerely hope you listen to some words of wisdom.
Nobody here “ngelaban perintah” but we want accountability and fairness. This topic is about half truth and lies that we hear for the past 20 years or so, and I can tell you there are plenty of half-truth and lies nowadays. If you want them, I can list them down here next few days.
For the rest of us, please pray for a fair & prosperous Sarawak and its people – everybody included (we are not like Iban Johor & Dayak Lama that practice selective governance).

I too love Yang dikasihi and Jabu. I too support Taib, BN and whatever Snowdan says !!!! Yes, dayak are CCO because many of this CCO Dayak are in SUPP, especially people like Richard Riot and Francis Harden. SUPP members were in CCO and PARAKU and this Dayak CCO in SUPP must be stopped !!!
Insya Allah Iban Johor, I too pray to god that you see the light and start going to the Surau. A lot of Dayak CCO go to Church and are Christians, so therefore they must be CCO as well.
Jabu and Snowdan have seen the light too and sooner they will join the Surau, and spread the good word to the Dayak CCO in SUPP.

I remember some time ago you mentioned that you claim to represent 40,000 Ibans in Johor who are willing to come back to Sarawak should the state election be held now.
We doubt your claim. Because it will certainly be a logistic arrangement for you to mobilise such a big number of people. Had you been able to carry this task, you are really known not only to the fellow Ibans residing in Johor but also the Iban people in Sarawak. YDK must be very happy with you.

Thank you Cikgu Iban for bringing this up, about the 40,000 Ibans in Johor. And I concur that not all of them think like Iban Johor.
How about to include these Ibans abroad to become postal voters? It will be good to see how the Election commission react to this proposal since now even the teachers can involve in politics, for sure they want voters like Iban Johor to vote for them, at Johore Bahru Maybe?.
If the governemnt so confidence of the Dayaks voters stand, let there be postal voters for Sarawakians abroad, Change We Must.
Dont condemned Iban Johor though you may not agree. Iban Johor is just a name like Iban Diatu. so dont be offended as he is not representing ALL IBAN JOHOR.
His opinion is BN opinion so naturally not consistent with the opposition opinion. For info I also dont like his comments as he is asking us to vote for Taib/BN gomen who has not been supporting the Ibans. Taib has not been a good leader as over so many years he is unable to groom anyone to takeover from him.
We are not in a business to codemn anyone here. It is just that we need to be rational in our argument at times.
Therefore, for someone to claim that he has no problem in arranging for 40,000 Ibans in Johor to came back voting for the BN candidates in the coming election is logistically not possible. This is a complete lie.

I think Iban Johor did tell the truth and most of his postings or ideas were quite representative of how & what the majority Ibans think of BN, why they still vote for BN.
In the next SE opposition has to prove that Iban Johor is not telling the truth. Denying BN 2/3 majority is considered a victory.

Dayak was feared by Brunei Sultan once upon a time. Can we fight with our brain nowadays? Simple, think and ask ourselves are we being manipulated? Are our rights being ignored? Be reminded that teachers in the state can be involved in political activities but they must be loyal to the gomen of the day. State Education director Datu Dr. Julaihi said the existing circular on the matter is quite clear.
Here DL wants to remind teachers that the gomen of the day is non- other than the BN gomen under Yangdikasihi. Be informed that DL ad hoc committee had been tasked in ensuring that no teachers deviated from the circular and would not hesitate in recommending disciplinary action.
You are not allowed to spread opposition’s political ideology esp. PR outside or inside your school. In short teachers indulging in politic must be loyal to the gomen, no two ways about it. Teachers should know where they stand and must know who the gomen of the day is…..so do not looks for trouble before trouble troubles you.
