Sarawak may leave Malaysia sooner than expected
Written by: Dr. John Brian Anthony
Federal Government proposed to have 1 additional Army Division in Sabah and additional Brigade strength for Sarawak. What is the meaning and implication of this proposal? Is the Federal Gov’t worried about the rising sentiment in Sarawak to get out of Malaysia? Sarawakian feel than Kuala Lumpur is colonizing the State in every sense of the word.
Sarawak against the British colony
Just the other day I had discussion with some friends who wanted to know whether Sarawak is serious about getting out of Malaysia as seen in many blogs and Face Book discussion. Frankly, Sarawakian felt colonize by Malaya today. From History, Sarawak responded negatively towards Britain when Sarawak was a colony that one of Sarawak son killed the British Government by plunging a knife into the gentlemen while inspecting a parade given in honour of the Governor’s visit. The British Governor subsequently died.
Prior to being made a colony under British rule many Dayak War Chiefs fought wars with the Brookes. Of all the War chiefs, Rentap was the most famous for being able to defeat the Brooke army twice and made his last stance at Bukit Sadok.
Is Sarawak a colony of Malaya?
If you look at the Federal Government policies and their approach towards taking Sarawak natural resources wealth and also the way Sarawak is being develop at snail pace into the “3rd poorest state in Malaysia”, these are evident enough. In the Federal civil service, Federal Government make sure that the top post are held by their people which is against the Borneonization of the Civil Service.
Politically, Sarawak reject UMNO at all cost so as not to put the last nail into the Sarawak coffin of being made a colony of Malaya.
Taib’s response to Prime Minister political pressure
In the recent election in April 2012, Taib Mahmud has to demand that the Governor swore him to be the next Chief Minister of Sarawak on the evening that the State election result was announced. Taib was not ready to be replaced as the chief Minister as demanded by Najib. Actually, before the election Taib “commit” to step down as Chief Minister after 2 years into the current term. Will this happen we are awaiting for the change by end of 2012 or early 2013.
What was heard was that Taib threaten to pull Sarawak out of Malaysia if Federal Government continue to undermined the Government and politics within Sarawak. Subsequently, Najib left Taib alone and do not say a word about Taib’s retirement.
Federal Government response
In Sabah, Dr. Jeffery Kitinggan used the STAR party to agitate for Sabah rights as agreed through the 20 points agreement signed before the formation of Malaysia. The document is signed under United Nation Treaty supervision.
In Sarawak, the spirit of anti- Malaya due to its colonizing approach is rising. Sarawak today is being colonize in all aspects, education, commerce, religion, politics, social structure and even government through BN.
Malaya took the wealth of Sarawak and gave back “crumps” as development fund. Malaya take all the important Ministry, took all the important post in the civil service, dismantle Sarawak Ranger and install Malay regiment.
Just yesterday, the Army threaten Sabah Sarawak by proposing to put in another Division of Army in Sabah and Brigade strength in Sarawak. This army is not to guard the security of Sarawak / Sabah as there is no external threat but more to ensure that the Federal Government can put down any of Sarawak intention to leave Malaysia.
In Sarawak, many of us sleep through this new development because as usual we do not want to pay attention to what Federal Government is doing to Sarawak. By the time this event of a brigade being placed in Sarawak and the Brigade start to take action then we find out that we are being pro-actively subdued by force in Sarawak.
Conclusion
The Federal Government will not change its approach in dealing with Sarawak. The revenue from oil and gas for that matter contributed to 40% of Malaysia’s income and the main source of corrupt money for UMNO leaders. The BN supporters in Sarawak thought that UMNO really care for Sarawak. The answer is NO, Sarawak will continue to be poor. If the Federal government response by giving Sarawak more development fund, then Taib and his political cronies will take it to keep.
The people of Sarawak are now being squeeze between a hard surface and granite rock. Dayak poverty is good as a source of BN support. Sarawak being poor is reason enough that the Federal Government think that they know what is best for Sarawak and they will continue not to hand back Sarawak oil and gas wealth to Sarawak.
In the coming PRU 13, when you vote for BN you are voting for continued poverty of Sarawak and to allow our oil and gas money to be in the hand of UMNO / BN.
UBAH meh! Change WE Must.

I so not have problem with Malaysia per se. However I do question the manner bywhich our nation is being managed. There is simply too much cronism, corruption, and the gap between the rich and the poor is gaining ever wider. The population of the poor is also getting larger and very sadly the distribution of wealth has gone along racial lines, and in our midst. And between Malaya, Sabah amd Sarawak, there are obvious discrepancies in term of wealth accumulation and distribution, and infrastructure developments in Sarawak are peanuts compared to in Malaya. Beside, by their sheer population number, of course, and Malays control most of the civil service, army and the police in Malaysia. All these trends are very dangerous for the multiracial Nation. Despite that, however, I do not think that an Independent Sarawak or Sabah is the answer.
It is in the interest of Malaya, Sabah and Sarawak to make Malaysia works. And I believe there are enough parameters to make Malaysia viable. And not forgetting that our nation practises democracy. With democracy the good virtues will prevail over vices, principles of check and balance will make sense, and the good will win over the evil.
I certainly do no subscribe to any euporia over the success of Singapore which after it ceded from Malaysia has been able to make a stand on its own and ranked as a developed and better managed nation of the world. Its successes must be attributed to the setting and circumstances the Island Republic is in. Most importantly it has one ethnic group that commands a majority, and which at the same time realizes that the better is to display virtue instead of vile, pragmatism instead of empty hypes and promises. And I do not think its success can be copied in Sarawak or Sabah.
On the other hand while Malaya will”NEVER” want to let Sarawak and Sabah out of Malaysia, it is in the interest of making Malaysia succeed that leaders in Malaya, including in UMNO/BN and or in Pakatan, will surely want to listen to the need to develop Sarawak and its people. And the people of this State too must make it known to tose federal leaders that the future of this nation hangs on the premise that Sarawak and its people must never be taken for granted or be abandoned in the present need for, and the quest for parity in term of, development with that of Malaya.
Finally I would advise caution in our enthusiasm over need for development that we do not promote any feeling of Independence of Malaysia which the State and the people are not yet ready for. Looking around at those countries which over the recent times achieved Independence from their old Masters or even from their old self like the recent Sudan divided into North and South. Both are now recognized as separate Nations. We must look at Sri Lanka and the Tamil Ilam which wanted to create an independent state out of north of that country. The people in those countries paid a very heavy price in the process. I advise caution because I do not think we are prepared for it yet. I would insist we must still use democracy to achieve fairness in the sharing of our Nation’s wealth.
For information of Dayakbaru members, I append below some parts of article entitled From Malaya to Malaysia written by a Professor Emeritus at UiTM and Visiting Professor at USM Dr.Shad Saleem Faruqi (Star 8.9.2010).
” Can Sabah and Sarawak change their mind and seek independence? The answer is simple and blunt. No state has a right to secede from the Federation. Our destinies are inter-twined and any differences must be settled through negotiation and compromise. Contrary to what is believed, Singapore did not secede. It was expelled by amendments to the 1957/1963 Constitution.”
To be expelled from a place is normally a bad thing…you have done something wrong.
In this instance, to be expelled would be the best thing.
What can we do to get ourselves expelled?
Regards.
Perintah besai bercadang deka nambah ka siti agi division tentera ba menua Sabah enggau Sarawak ngambika ngeringka perintah seladau ba menua Sabah enggau Sarawak. Nama reti enggau tuju pangawa ti bakatu? Enti perintah besai nya irau ati tegal ari pemajak runding rakyat menua ba menua Sarawak ti deka ngamasut ka diri ari Malaysia ?
Sarawakian ngasai ka Kuala Lumpur semina jadi ka perintah koloni ba menua tu endang di asai ka setiap leka bajako.
Sarawak ngelaban perintah British kolonie
Semina ari nya aku bisi berandau aku bisi berandau enggau sekeda kaban-kaban sida deka nemu sekali ka Sarawak tu amat-amat benar-benar deka ngamasut ka diri ari serakup Malaysia. Lalu baka ke dipeda ba maioh randau enggau juarai tu bisi pasut ba sekeda blog serta face book, ia ke benar, Sarawakian ngasai ka perintah koloni pegai Malaya saritu. Ari cerita lama, Sarawak nyaut enggau jako nulak maia perintah kolonie British, leboh Sarawak ti dalam perintah konlonie dia siko ari anak Sarawak munuh pemerintah British enggau nujuk ia enggau keris ngaggai tubuh ia leboh ia ti benong merasa baris basa kena masa penemuai tuan perintah lalu tuan perintah nya pan lalu mati. Udah ti di kolonie ari perintah british maioh tuai perang bangsa dayak baperang enggau printah Brookes. Ari semua tuai perang tu dia. Rentap aja ti amat terbilang nama lalu oleh ngalah ka dua kali seladadu Brookes lalu jadi ka Bukit Sadok nyadi ka Kota ia.
Kati Sarawak tu jadi perintah Kolonie oleh Malaya?
Enti kita meda ba policy perintah menua. Cara sida ianya ngambi pengraja asal enggau pengaya menua Sarawak tauka cara sida ia ngemasang ka menua Sarawak tau di sema ka baka tukuyung jadi ka menua Sarawak tu menua ti ianya lumber. 3 paling menua ti amat meskin ba menua Malaysia. Tu amat nunjuk ka cukup amat bukti, terang jadi ka teledan. Ba peritntah menua dia sida ti bekerja ba opis-opis pemerintah sida ti jadi ketuai ianya endang sida ti ngelaban perintah menua Borneo ba pagawa.
Jadi secara politik dia Sarawak patut nulak UMMO enggau nama / apa aja cara awak ka sida enda baka ti nyimpan ka kukut lalu nyunjuk ka jari sida ia ka menua Sarawak. Sentubung meh ka sida tu ti meri perintah Kolonie ngaggai Malaya.
Taib patut nyaut ngaggai Menteri besai ba tekan politik ti di terima ia.

Nama utai ti di dinga ianya Taib ngena jako ngeratak/ tangkan lalu lalu ko ia deka masut ka Menua Sarawak tu ari Malaysia, enti perintah besai enda badu-badu percaya ka perintah menua serta politk ba menua Sarawak. Serta serantak enggau nya dia Najib lalu ngawak ka Taib kadiri lalu nadai negu serta nyebut agi jako pasal Taib ti deka badu.
Perintah besai nyaut.
Sida Malaya mega megai semua jemah menteri ti amat bekuasa, ngambi semua tampok tauka tuai-tuai ba opis perintah, Ukai semina naka nya aja sida tu lalu mutus lalu muai Sarawak Ranger lalu nganti enggau Seladau malayu
Baru kamar mega, baka ke udah tanda-tanda baka bala seladadu udah ngeretak Sabah Sarawak enggau nuduk ka siti agi divison seladadau ia ba Sabah enggau siti agi peletun ti kuat ba Sarawak. Bala Seladau tu ukai nyaga penglikun menua Sabah enggau Sarawak. Laban kitai sigi nadai ancam / kacau ba dalam menua tu, tang ia kalebih agi ianya perintah besai endang deka nagang enggau pangawa berjaga-jaga awak ka nagang pangawa ti deka mai Sarawak tu ningal ka Malaysia.
Dalam Sarawak, Maioh agi kitai nya agi tinduk ba sentatang pekara ti baru tu laban baka selama meh kitai nya enggai masuk campur nama kabuah kerja perintah besai ka menua Sarawak. Tang ba maia ti deka datai dia baru kitai nemu reti pangawa peleton seladau tu ianya bertindak.
Pengujung jako
Perintah Besai endang enda deka nukar cara pemerintah sida ia ti besangkut paut enggau Sarawak. Hasil ti pasut ari minyak enggau gas ti masut 40% penatai pemisi Malaysia. Jadi ari penatai pemisi nya meh jadi pangawa ti makai suap ka tuai-tuai UMMO. Penyukong BN ti ba Sarawak bafikir endang semina UMMO aja ti amat ambil ngamasang enggau ambil peduli ka nasib Rakyat Sarawak, Suat aku ukai sida aja ti oleh. Sarawak endang deka terus menerus meskin. Enti perintah Besai nyaut lalu meri di kena ngemasang ka menua Sarawak. Ttang meh Pemerintah Taib enggau raban bala politik ia lalu ngambi duit lalu nyimpan ia
Rakyat menua Sarawak diatu tau disema ka baka ba tengah tanah enggau batu granite. Dayak ti Mesikin papa ianya hal ti amat manah ko sida ia, awak ka sida tu jadi pengundi setia lalu sentiasa jadi penyukung / pengundi BN. Menua Sarawak ti mesikin nya meh udah cukup ka perintah besai mikir ka utai ti lebih manah ka Sarawak lalu sida tu majak enda meri Sarawak kekaya minyak enggau gas pulai ka menua Sarawak.
Jadi ba penatai PRU 13, Enti nuan agi ngundi BN dia nuan masih nyukong perintah BN awak ka Rakyat Sarawak tu majak mesikin papa serta ngemadar ka minyak enggau gas kitai nya di beri ngaggai UMMO / BN

I m not sure whether the sentiment (pulling out Sarawak from federation) can boost the opposition garnering support of swakians. I doubt the strategy, not the correct timing when the swak opposition rely so much on PR leaders from Malaya to remove swak white rajah from the throne and put him in jail for abuse of power & corruption.
I support swak independence but very much in doubt of whether it can change Dayaks’ fate to any good. Dayaks still lack the intellectuals to have better bargain with the chinese & Muslims in administer the state affairs. I worry that Chinese will make swak into a godson of mainland china. Chinese will control everything. More Chinese will become road bullies, gangsters, Along, smugglers.
Then the Chinese will treat the natives like slaves. You will see Chinese making high wall on their castles, spit into any trespassers. I’m very pessimistic of natives’ future if they are not ready for it (swak republic).
Swak still in the federation is not bad if UMNO/PBB toppled and taib put to jail. The oil & gas royalties to be reviewed. I think swak PR can make good deal with PR leaders from sjung.
The problem now is the white rajah stealing state wealth & robbing rakyat precious assets. Get rid of this man everything will be alright. Now he uses his ill gotten money to bribe the authorities (from sending him to jail) and divide & rule the poor dayaks.
Majib has disgraced and embarrassed the country by paying BBC for interviews to burnish, polish and clear his image worldwide.
Msia pays 96 million to FBC for this news -fixing scandal.
I m wondering if swak PR can have good terms with their sifu in malaya if the former play this sensitive issue. It can backfire on PR (chance of taking over putrajaya) if Malays swing their votes to UMNO if they know that swak/ sbah are going to bite their hands that tried to remove the white raj from throne.
Sabah is different from swak. They already ruled by UMNO. Their slogan of Sabah for sabahans definitely can swing the votes to local parties. It has been proven during PBS era when it crushed Berjaya into manggot. But swak is far away to achieve that golden opportunity and taste the solid support of all swakians against UMNO. Why! Because PBB itself collaborate with umno discriminates the dayak people.
SEBANA ATI….SEBANA MENOA!!!
No doubt we Sarawakians will have to review our pact in Malaysia. We must save Sarawak from being plundered out its wealth and resources. It’s never too late to stop the culprits from robbing and depleting our riches.
I fear for the worst to happen if we dont pre-empt our action, either through legal or by force if needed. What’s left for our future generation? We are still under populated with vast opportunities in economy but the Malays/UMNO/BN will take every chance to steal our coffers.
Bala kaban, Anang semina berdoa aja laban Tuhan enggai meda bansa ti semina bepanggai ba pengarap enggau ‘miracles’tang nadai nemu berusaha/berjuang nentu ka nasib diri kitai empu.Bechonto meh kitai ke bansa Jews, Israel, Yahudi!!!
GET RID OF THE PARASITES…ARAM BERUBAH!!
LOCAL POLITICS ASIDE
Dear Dayak Bros & sisters
The issue of independence is about becoming our own masters free from any form of colonial rule.
“Malaysia” represents the British/Malayan conspiracy to keep us colonized. What Dr. Anthony has said is very accurate.
Many of us rightly target Taib because he has stolen NCR land and oppressed the people of all races. However, we might not lose sight of the fact that UMNO/Pakatan will still control our destiny.
Is not it better that we rule ourselves?
We fear Chinese mainly because we believe what the British and now UMNO propaganda say about them to divide and rule us.
However, to be fair it is only a small minority of Chinese who in cahoots with Taib have become economically powerful. Most other Chinese also struggle for a living. We know they have traditionally been survivors in tough economic and political climates.
Dayaks also led a self-sufficient life-style which has been destroyed not just by Taib bit before that his uncle Adbul Rahman Yakub who also plundered the timberland.
We must recognise that Sarawak is made up of all races and we must work to unite with them to change our lot.
For those who still live under the illusion that we have “independence in Malaysia” please read this statement by Daniel John Jambun Deputy Leader of the STAR party in Sabah in the nest posting
If swak already becomes the republic we should form a shooting squad to deal with YBs who rob people’s land. Any culprit will be shot to dead by the firing squad.
Punishment for smuggling & gangsterism also dealth sentence. Live imprisonment for road bullies. A jail sentence for indiscriminate parking. Only then sarawakians can have peace & enjoy the prosperity of the country.
Rise up all you Ibans! It’s you the ones who has been sleeping all this while when your land was robbed, your jungles raped, and you continue to let your people live in poverty while we here in West Malaysia enjoy the fruits of your land. I have been to Mukah, Kapit, Sibu, Bintangor, Sarikei, Niah, Song, Miri, Kuching, (more places than even some of you Ibans have been) and everywhere I see displeasure of Ibans, Kenyahs, Kelabits, etc against the BN regime but I DO NOT SEE you all united in your fight for your land. Be wise oh people of Borneo or forever be used by the UMNO racist (who only use your Bumiputera status as statistics) to gain what they want all the time!! Rise up all ye or forever remain as you are, grumbling but no action! – Abang Del, KL.
The sooner the better for Sarawakian to get out from “Ketuanan” Melayu Malaya, let us unite together all Sarawakian, get out from this Federation which are completely did not benefit us but only to MAKE the Melayu Malaya more supreme/ego superior, sucking our wealth/resources and colonized us.
This “orang Malaya” only want to be seen the GREATEST in the eye of the world, they have already forgotten us, they just simply neglect us, they never thinking of equal opportunity to be given to us, they never have any agenda to develop SARAWAK equally the same like MALAYA, they just want DAYAK to die slowly and those survive will change themselves and converted, at the end all of us will become 1 BANGSA MELAYU DALAM 1 MALAYSIA,
Dayak particularly the Ibans will forever disappear and extinct creature and only found in the Sarawak museum which are now more MALAY look rather than the original SARAWAKIAN MUSEUM.
Nothing to fear about the Chinese in Sarawak, we are getting more educated Dayak nowadays, more intelligent and getting more clever just like them, Dayak must rise up again, unite, we should be able to rule and govern this country “Sarawak”, the only place and the only home on earth for us Dayak. Let us all work together with the rest of Sarawakian.
For the King “Buban” let him move to KL follow his uncle Tun Rahman, after all he is just MALAYA PROXY, he may used to threatens Malaya but that is just pretending for his own survival, never trust him, because his mission and agenda is to follow instruction from Malaya, he never trust the Dayak as well.
For so many years especially since King Buban regime rules Sarawak supported by Malaya, nothing much has changed to Dayak, but the MALAYA, they have all the good time and develop their own people so well
1) They have gone to the space, cost
million/billion
2) They have formula one, cost million
3) They have sent people to mount Everest,
round the world, cost million
4) They have already built high standard of
highway north, south, east, west and so
many more
But over here, in Sarawak, what do we have? Even to construct 1 single highway, which has been 48 years delay not even half being completed. They have everything in Malaya, plenty job, high salary, quality life, education, and so on.
Here, in our country Sarawak, even to build primary school also Malaya not supportive but they are willing to send over thousand of CIKGU MALAYA to spread their propaganda, to ensure the success of their agenda to fully control Sarawak and colonize us for the entire life.
Doesn’t matter who we work with as long as we can defeat the wicked BN politicians and teach them bitter lesson on good governance and brings them to justice once an for all.
Keep it aside, unless we have strong political entity for Sarawakian, able stand on our own feet, only then we can think of leaving Malaysia for the better.
As for now, the mission is to deny the fixed deposit labelled on us and to gradually weakened BN rule for CHANGE we desperately need. This election is the defining moments to halt the ego and hypocrisy of BN.
YOU AND I ARE ACCOUNTABLE TOWARDS OUR MOTHERLAND-SARAWAK!!! SUBMISSION VOTES NEEDED to deny them the victory!!!
HIDUP NEGARA SARAWAK!!!
i do believe, we can expell from current federation, since the agreement to made our federation has been breached,,, btw, let international house of lord define our country position…
Linut Mulung, I am 100% agree with all your comments!!! You have a mindset of most modern Dayaks do not have. Not to forgot all the other ‘mind-awakening’ comments contributed here by other colleagues too!!
As as Sabahan or Sarawakian, I strongly believe that it has been our long-awaited dream to see ourselves and upcoming dayak generations to govern and rule our own country and our land. Enjoying all the possible fruits, benefits and richness from our very own land of abundances has become something which our ill-hearted ‘orang malaya’ are very much envy of.
Everybody must believe and deeply understand that we will never be able to pursue our dream come true without the spirit of togetherness and strong unity within our Sabahan or Sarawakian people. By hook or by crook, we must unite ourselves to escape from the fire of ‘silent dayak extinction’ by ‘orang malaya’. They have ruled us for so many years, took away our wealth and abundance to enrich themselves and their cronies, deny our rights in terms of education, economy, welfare, politics and so on, forgotten the 20-point agreement and no to mention the other long-listed betrayal that they had done to us. They only want to show to the whole world that they are the best race ever existed but they had forgotten that without our wealth which they had stolen for many years, they will never be able to achieve every success that they had claimed. Petronas twin tower is one of the example, not to mention the other achievement and development in the west malaysia.
We have been patience and tolerated with them for so many years and yet they still leave us poor even after 55 years joining malaysia. I believe ‘Tok uban’ is also the mastermind of all these dirty plots to vanish all the dayaks from ‘bumi kenyalang’ as he and his master from federal govt has learned so much from ‘The Colonial’ group on how to divide and conquer the people. Never trust Tok uban!!! He is the greatest liar and his promises are full of betrayal. He is no different than a satxx.
Last but not least, to make a long story become short, from now on, the first and foremost thing we should do is to close the gap, unite ourselves and to let each and every one of our people to understand their rights. May God bless our fight for our rights. Amen.
The thought of Sarawak leaving Malaysia is NOT a PR or any other political party election strategy. It is something that we must seriously evaluate to ensure that our generation has better future. As it is, Sarawakian has been put into a corner by Federal Government. Taib’s corruption and abuse of power is just like salt rub into injury.
Patrick, we have been following the “democratic option” a year short of 50 years today. Instead of getting where we want to be we are losing on all fronts daily. From our land even up to our education and culture. UMNO wish is not Sarawak wants.
The BN YB that we have elected is not a reliable representative. He prefer to keep his position for personal gain. Federal Government infer that Sarawak is happy but Sarawakian is not at all happy. Things are getting from bad to worst today.
Annually billion of budget was announced but year in year out we do not see the progress brought by this money. Where is the money and where is the development promised?
Hard core poor and poverty is created in Sarawak for political reason. The disfranchise people cannot think long term but fight to put 3 square meals on the table. The BN money is used to buy power from the people who basically do not understand their rights and the implication of a democratic election process. Every BN YBs and Division / Branch committee is on the take taking advantage of BN leadership behavior.
If political process cannot rectify the problem it is being hijack from us because of vote buying and election irregularity then ot is time to weigh different options. We cannot wait for another 50 years and evaluate whether we have what we want. This past 49 years is time enough.
In the history of the world, uprising, demonstration and civil war is not new. Actually it is not a tool but a process to affect change. Otherwise we will end in much worst situation we are in today.
The Federal Gov’t should be aware of sarawak lagging behind in development. But do you think they care. The PM and Ministers came just to give us their empty promises. We are not fools to be lied to and played with.
Sarawakian patience is running thin. The dam drown our heritage, the plantation took our land without benefit for us, the heavy industry (aluminuim smelting plant) is well documented for its bad effect and kill us and the education policies and teachers / ustaz migration from Malaya is design to change us from ethnic status to religious identity category.
The price to pay for wanting to leave Malaysia depend on our approach. We should not choose a civil war. We should choose to sit on the negotiating table and ask that the wrongs be put right. Injustice to be converted to fairness and policies to be corrected.
In this respect BN is not an option at all. The BN culture and objective do not benefit Sarawak.
I call for “UBAH” – a change that we must all work for before time run out of our patience.
Tabi tuai/biak.
- quote from the above (salina Abdullah).
Unquote:
I think salina must be badly treated after being converted to Islam thru force or married to Muslim. Or did your husband abandon you?
I don’t know how far true is your above story? If it does, well we dayaks may accept the religion forced on us BUT we still practice our normal culture; hunt for wild boar & exotic animals, rearing pigs, eat pork, serve rice wine during Gawai festival….bla….bla…that’s part of our survival skills.
Therefore, Vote out BN before someone come to your house and force you to submit to religion against your wish!
Correction
…..did your husband abandon you for another lady or he s drug addict…drunkard, womanizer etc?
Well, that’s not end of the world. Please repent and seek for Jesus’ s forgiveness.
agreed. The sooner the better>
What can UNMO offer? Nothing but looting strategy and tactics.
Rope in Taib and family and make him pay back all that he has looted.
Let’s not forget that there’s nothing wrong to tell the truth about Dayak being FOOLED by UMNO to join Malaysia:
…”The Ibans and Bidayuhs being the two largest native races in Sarawak were made fools by the federal government all these 46 years since Malaysia was formed and no elected Dayak representatives, until today dared to speak on this Umno and the Malays from Malaya to control the Dayaks in Sarawak.”
But surely very wrong, shameful and pathetic to note that DAYAK leaders themselves cannot suck it up:

Report lodged against Voon for ‘seditious’ remarks
The Borneo Post, Thursday 19 November 2009
KUCHING: A police report has been lodged against Voon Lee Shan (DAP-Batu Lintang) for alledgedly making seditious and racial remarks in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) on Nov 11. Six Barisan Nasional (BN) representatives led by Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah (BN-Asajaya) lodged the report at the Gita Police Station at 11.39am yesterday. The other five BN representatives comprised Bukit Saban assemblyman Robert Lawson Chuat, Pantai Damai assemblyman Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, Ba Kelalan assemblyman Nelson Balang Rining, Bengoh assemblyman Dr Jerip Susil and Pujut assemblyman Andy Chia. Karim said Voon had uttered words in the DUN which were deemed seditious and unhealthy for a multi-ethnic country like Malaysia. “You cannot use words that disrupt racial harmony and incite one race against the other. And that is how it sounded when you read those three paragraphs (of the Hansard). It has that sort of connotation, ” he told reporters at the DUN. The three paragraphs he was referring to was part of Voon’s debate speech on the Supply Bill (2010), 2009 in which he touched on the classification of ‘Bumiputera and non-Bumiputera’.
The three paragraphs are as follows: “When we formed Malaysia we made ourselves subject to classifications by being called ‘Bumiputera and non-Bumiputera’. Our Dayak brothers in Sarawak trapped themselves and did not realise the dream of a great Malay leader in the person of Tunku Abdul Rahman, to divide Malaysians to Bumiputera and non-Bumiputera was to enhance Malay dominance in politics and race over other races in Malaysia. “Malay, a supreme race, was followed by Natives, but unknowingly to our Dayak brothers, the defination of ‘Natives’ has left out Iban and Bidayuh races of Sarawak. This is how the Malay race of Malaya as planned by Tunku Abdul Rahman, had controlled Malaysian politics and economy for past 46 years. “The Ibans and Bidayuhs being the two largest native races in Sarawak were made fools by the federal government all these 46 years since Malaysia was formed and no elected Dayak representatives, until today dared to speak on this Umno and the Malays from Malaya to control the Dayaks in Sarawak.”
Karim said that in his own debate speech on Nov 13, he had asked Voon to withdraw these remarks and to apologise to the august house as well as asking for these words to be expunged from the Hansard. However, he said, Voon refused to do so even when he was given till Nov 17 to withdraw and apologise. “Even though in the DUN, we have special privileges there are limitations to this. “We can’t simply utter words that will contravene the Sedition Act 1948. “We actually didn’t want to resort to this sort of action but he didn’t want to (withdraw),” he said, adding that this was the first time BN representatives had lodged a report of this kind against fellow DUN member. He said it was up to the police and the government if Voon would end up being entangled with the Internal Security Act (ISA). When asked what if action was taken against Voon under ISA, Karim replied: “…Well, I cannot prejudge this. If possible, I don’t want this to go to that level. We sympathise with our friend.” He said if Voon should change his mind and wanted to withdraw his statement and then apologise, he would have to deal with the police.
In response, Voon later told reporters that he was “speaking for the voice of 2.07 million people of Sarawak” and the issue he spoke in the DUN affected constitutional issues and also the rights of the Dayaks and the Malays. “There were also threats that they will use ISA against me but I feel that this is the unbecoming style of the BN to flex their muscles because they have the numbers to go against us (the opposition). I just pray that the 2.07 million people are behind me,” he said. He claimed that surprisingly, he had received moral support and congratulatory messages from certain Dayak YBs who were pleased that he had brought the issue up. Voon said he was also on the verge of lodging a police report against some DUN members for sending him text messages which he believed was tantamount to ‘criminal intimidation and also political harassment” against him.
He said that these text messages not only affected him but also DAP at large and this was clearly the style of BN. “It’s their right to lodge a police report but with that I may also lodge a police report because I feel that the SMS sent to me is tantamount to criminal intimidation and contempt of privileges of the House…I feel that I should be protected under the Federal Constitution,” he added. On this note, Karim countered that the BN YB whom Voon referring to could probably be him. This was because he and Voon had been exchanging SMS after the controversial debate. However, Karim believed that his messages to Voon were not incriminating at all, rather it was form of an advice and reminder. He said that he had revealed these messages to the police when lodging the report and even read to reporters part of the messages. Karim said Voon initiated the messaging by admitting that he got a bit emotional during the debate.
The following is an exchange of some of the SMS between the two assemblymen as disclosed by Karim:
Karim: “With all due respect to you, the line of your debate today thus reflect slight tone of provocation and incitement among races which is not healthy. ” I hope we can do away with all this, I respect you as a friend and an Honourable Member and I have kept reminding the (BN) Backbenchers to refrain themselves from this sensitive topic of one race overriding the other and I hope the same could be done among Pakatan Rakyat. “We are leaders and we must try to do our responsible part to preserve the harmony we are enjoying now. My apologies whether my teguran (advice) seem harsh.”
Voon: “Thank you very much. I went back and reflected and realise that I was a bit overboard. I hope you can all understand me and I thank you for your advice. I hope to be more careful and not be carried away. We have to see the interest of our state be protected and Federal should be reminded of what is due to us.”
Karim: “I’m as patriotic to our beloved state as you are and would like to see the state get much development and attention as any loyal Sarawakian. It’s just that our approach with Kuala Lumpur is more discreet.”
BLIND TO REALITY!
Agree with you Bro Dr.Anthony.
Keep up the great work for our great cause! We support your efforts!
Many especially those inducted into the ranks of the oppressors are still dreaming that they got “independence in Malaysia” when it really is “re-colonization” under a new brown skin master..
It makes no sense when a great majority of us are chewing the bitter end of the sugar cane as Aki Jugah once said would happen.
They called him uneducated but he has the last laugh… he could see we were being duped by the British and Malayans about their so-called independence.
Our Dayak brothers and sisters must unite to save the Dayak nation before it is drown by more dams..
It is just amazing that the Rentap spirit can be so suppressed till we can hardly breath..all the fight has been taken out of our warriors.
There are those have become just the foot soldiers of Malayan colonialism….
Jako keluar ari Malaysia bedau tau disebut nganti orang Sarawak kelebih agi Dayak nyauka seraput “Matured” ba politik.
Orang Malaya kira udah tau disebut seraput matang ba politik tang ukai kitai Sarawak.
Kitai Sabah-sarawak patut nemu. Perintah ke jai kediatu ukai ketegal orang Malaya aja tang ketegal kitai Sabah-Sarawak agi bedau matang ba politik lalu enda oleh nulong perintah ke manah nukar perintah ke jai. Kitai Sabah-Sarawak nyau nyaup perintah ke jai negi ka pengenyai sida.
Uji kitai mikir ka iya, enti bala ba Sabah-Sarawak udah matang ba politik, lalu kitai oleh muai perintah ke jai lalu nukar iya enggau perintah ke manah baka bala menyadi kitai ba Malaya. Tentu iya jauh lebih manah ari kitai ke mikir ka diri keluar ari Malaysia.
Bala YB ke jai dibai ke makamah lalu iya ke salah dijail, bangsa ke seranta lalu diidup ka enggau program pemansang ke patut, negeri ke mundur lalu diadu ka pemansang baka iya ke udah maju, enda nyalah baka polisi PR kediatu.
Pengawa kitai keluar Malaysia ukai utai mudah lalu maioh utai ka dikira lebih agi Hak Bumiputra enggau pengaya nengeri Sabah-Sarawak ke udah abis dirangkul orang Malaya. Contoh pengerusak menoa bukai merdeka patut nyadi ka teladan kitai.
Misal nya kitai keluar ari Malaysia, udah pengaya kitai ke abis diambi orang Malaya. Kati kitai ngelak ka iya baka nya aja tanpa nuntut iya pulai baru? Kati kitai keluar Malaysia pia aja tanpa ngaga sempekat baru enggau ukai bumiputra pasal hak kitai? Ka ke enda bangsa cina nerima sempekat baru nya enti kitai Merdeka?
Anang-anang jako ka keluar Malaysia nya penemu ngambi oleh ba politik lemah bangsa Dayak kediatu endor muai hak kitai bumiputra. Laban enti Sabah-Sarawak Merdeka ari Malaysia, bangsa ke udah maju ba Sarawak baka cina muntang agi ngerangkum pengaya menoa Sarawak ngena sempekat ke baru.
Laban aku pecaya ka sempekat ke baru udah Sabah-Sarawak keluar ari Malaysia ba keadaan baka kediatu nya deka nadai ngetan ka hak kitai Dayak laban ko sida Sabah-Sarawak keluar Malaysia ketegal kami ukai bumiputra lalu sempekat tentu ka cenderung ngagai peminta kami.
Enti Sabah-Sarawak keluar ari Malaya maia kitai udah seraput matang ba politrik, sempekat baru enda oleh cenderung ngagai peminta orang ukai bumiputra.
Jamah lubah tumu datai berumban uban bemalam di rantu jalai.
Talking about break away from Malaya control. How serious are we? What are foundations that we have in place to pursue the case further?
Readers should be aware that to free ourselves from the clutch of Malaysia is not that simple. This call for complex political games where all of us should take parts. We should not let our political leaders to do the lead, Common people like us also should works on tandem with our leaders.
I am not frightening you guys but let me tell you that as DR Anthony had said that additional battalion of army is being stationed in Sabah-that is a warning by itself.
Karen people in Myanmar is fighting for Independence from Burmese Control for a long time but until now they failed to break away from Burma.
The Acheh people are fighting for their homeland but until now that parts of Indonesia territory is still controlled by Central Government of Indonesia.
Southern Sudan is still fighting for independent from Northern Sudan. Look Basir is wanted by Intl Court of justice for crime against humanity.War is still going on in that region.
Mandinao southern Phillipine -the Bangsa Moro is fighting for separate homelands-the fights is still going on.
West Pakistan & East pakisatan were fighting bloody war of Independence but eventually east managed to free itself from the west.
Look at event in Russia, African Continents as well as in Asia-to break away from the grip of federal control is horrible.Millions of lives lost. United nation can not do anything-even if they did it is too late.
How nationalist are Sarawak and Sabah people? Are we prepare to sacrifice ourselves for this Cause?
If we are not committed for this cause then only do it half-way then don’t rush for it yet.
No doubt the whole Sarawakian & Sabahan people being short changed by Malaya but we need to relax and don’t vent our anger in order to exhaust our energy so soon.
All of us are angry when we see that Malaya is not fair to us.But let me see how many of you are ready if I say how about the formation Sarawak Liberation Front, a political engine where we can bring this cause to United nation? Can we send SLF representatives to United Nation to free ourselves from the Federal Control? Talk to the World Community.Tell them that we want to free ourselves from Malaya control.
Do we have the stomach to do it. How many of you are willing enough to separate with your kids and wife? If you moot this idea probably somebody in Putra jaya won’t sleep the whole night long. Stop.
One additional army division in Sabah and one brigade strength in Sarawak.
Are these armies necessary to a work of love? Have Sabahans and Sarawakians during the past 50 years shown themselves to be so unwilling to cooperate with peninsula Malayan from Kuala Lumpur,so that now force must be called in to win back our love? Sabahan and Sarawakian had been more than too willing to submit themselves all these 50 years! Now let us not deceive ourselves. These additional armies are the implement of war and subjugation;the last arguments to which the malayans resort. Then what we may ask my dear Borneans, what these additional armies are for,if its purpose be not to force us Sabahan and Sarawakians to submission? Can we Borneans assign any other possible motive for it? Has the malayans any enemy,in this side of our land to call for all this accumulation of armies or navies? There is none. They are meant for us:they can be meant for no other. They are to be sent over to bind and rivet upon us those chains which the malayans have been so long forging.
Iban Abroad you sound pessimist and defeatist.Dayaks must be the DRIVER and not taking the BACK SEAT!
In our Dayak struggles there is no room for pessimism and defeatism! Lets not talk about the trivial and the unnecessary. The Borneans people must be united in defense of their justice, sovereignty and prestige!
The malayan came with ambition for dominion, with goal of exploitation or domination over us.The hour has come to take our rights and not beg for them,to fight instead of pleading for them! We Borneans must recover what is ours under the Principles of Natural Self-determination.It is pointless for the malayan to speak of unity when Borneans people are made subordinate instead of unity as an equal.
Unggal Ciribut,

“PR” ideology originated from West Malaysia is also colonizing and assimilating Sarawakians into their “self-interest politico agenda” either directly or indirectly. The art of politics is if you are not ‘at the table’, you (and the things you care about) will be ‘on the menu’.
An additional Army Division in Sabah and an Army Brigade in Sarawak is not a threat to Sabah and Sarawak as these two states are Malaysians’ territories; its primary aim is to enhance the force projection capabilities to encounter any unforeseen threats in the near future from both external and domestic. However, the Police Force is capable enough to handle and/or overcome any domestic threat.
In simplistic thoughts, to mobilize an Army’s operations into East Malaysia doesn’t take days but an hour or two into Sabah and Sarawak via accurate logistics planning/deployment (air, land and sea).
So it is not logic to say “Putrajaya” or “West Malaysia” is a threat to Sabah and Sarawak, and it is Government’s priority to enhance, safeguard, protect, defend and promote “homeland security” for its citizens and sovereign territories from “threats” and “traitors” (external and internal).
A person who feel threaten is a person who feel others as threat. Is pulling Sabah and/or Sarawak a signal of threat to Malaysia?
If this article is not from “PR” then does it sounds like Dr John Brian is a threat element to Malaysians? Or does his article herein not “instigating” Malaysians to create an “anti-Malayan sentiment” among Malaysians?
You can spot a Politician by his “water cooler gossip”. You know…the lowered voice, the sideways looks and the secretive tones and instigative blogging as he “just wanted to let you know that…” This is usually followed by a titbit that you really did not want to hear, but now that you know it, you cannot help but appreciate being let in on the “secret agenda”.
Thank you.
Unggal Ciribut,
Nya kebuah kitai deka ngaga sempekat social kontrak baka Hak Bumiputra enggai ke kitai kena sabotaj orang jemah ila nyadi Driver. Enggai ka serakup kitai dipechah ka orang.

Bah, ni iya penemu ke enda mapap deh?
Bantai ke dia meh.
Terima kasih.
In my mind, for a person to give a one way opinion is even worst.
But it is a typical behaviour of the Iban. We are known to criticise others by giving a unilateral idea which is to belittle the credibility of that idea.
The Ibans are very good in this aspect. They can really open up their mouth to express out something but that is the only the Ibans can do at the most.
We have always failed to provide an alternative. We have never thought of another options.
Typical Iban thinking is that there is no plan B, plan C and so forth.
We just know how to criticise plan A only without suggesting any other options.
And this is very unproductive. It is better that we just do not open up our mouth. We would be better to keep quite because we never think of the ways to get around it.
If there is a problem facing our community, we do not want a criticism. We need proposals which are practical to SOLVE our problem. In this area, the Ibans are seriously poor!
This sort of behaviour has hampered our progress in almost all sectors.
Cheers…

But all these years since 1963, Sabah and Sarawak were treated as merely two of the 13 states of Malaysia. And this was able to happen because Barisan Nasional rules your states and Barisan Nasional is also the federal government. Hence the federal government can do what it likes to Sabah and Sarawak. However, if Sabah and Sarawak had opposition state governments — like in Selangor, Kedah, Penang and Kelantan — then Sabah and Sarawak will, again, be independent states although still members of the Federation or the United States of Malaya.
NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Dear voters of Sabah and Sarawak,
First of all, I initially intended to write this letter in Bahasa Malaysia, which means I would need someone to help me translate it. However, I was told that many of you are proficient in English and actually visit English language websites rather than Bahasa websites (Sabah and Sarawak readers represent 5% of Malaysia Today’s total readership of almost half a million). So allow me to continue in English.
The purpose of this ‘open’ letter is to state my stand on various issues. You already know my stand on the Oil Royalty issue, which I wrote about on 7 February 2012 (EPISODE 1: How East Malaysia and Terengganu were robbed of their wealth). I also included Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah’s statement on video (EPISODE 3: Ku Li talks about the mysterious plane crash in Sabah) about the tragic and mysterious plane crash that wiped out half of Sabah’s cabinet at the height of the oil royalty negotiations, which I was told had broken down.
Now, let’s move on to the next issue.
On the status of Sabah and Sarawak, we must remember that on 31st August 1957, the Federation of Malaya (Persekutuan Tanah Melayu) was formed, which was a union of three groupings: the Straits Settlements, the Federated Malay States and the Unfederated Malay States.
For all intents and purposes, the Federated and Unfederated Malay states were independent states (the Straits Settlements were British Colonies) or at least were given a perception of independence. The British in those states were just advisors. Nevertheless, whether the Rulers in those states were obligated to take the advice of the British, or they could ignore it, is an issue which historians are still debating till today and they will all probably go to their graves without coming to any consensus.
I would sum it up by saying that the Rulers were not obligated to take the advice of the British Advisors. However, knowing what the British are like, they have ways of persuading the Rulers to take the advice. Gunboat diplomacy is one persuasive method that comes to mind. Another very persuasive method would be to support a pretender to the throne in the many power struggles (even today it is still happening in some states) and once there is a change of regime the new Ruler would be obligated to listen to the British who had put him onto the throne.
Nevertheless, the British in the spirit of diplomacy never demonstrated force. Persuasion was the order of the day. And I am sure that when Sabahans saw what happened to those who resisted the federal government’s move to take the state resources and just throw back 5% to the state as royalty, the new Sabah regime was ‘persuaded’ to accept the 5% and shut the fxxk up.
Anyway, back to the issue of the Federation of Malaya. As I said, 11 states under three groupings merged into a union. While the Americans call theirs a union, the British preferred the term federation. I suppose the British hate the Americans for losing the war so they did not want to be seen as copying the Americans. Hence we became the Federation of Malaya rather than the Union of Malay States or the United States of Malaya.
But that was what we really were, the United States of Malaya. And that would mean other than matters involving security, defence and foreign policy, the rest are state matters and under the power of the states. Certainly we cannot have the Selangor Police Force like they do in the US. We cannot have a State judiciary with different laws across states. Kelantan also cannot declare war on Thailand or Johor on Singapore. And so on. But the rest comes under the states.
Now, what has happened over 51 years from 1957 to 2008 is as follows. Most states at most times were under the ruling party in Parliament. Except for Kelantan and Penang (from 1969 to 1973), the states were federal-ruled. (1978-1990 Umno ruled Kelantan). Hence, it meant that the states were forced to subject themselves to the federal government.
No doubt, there were times when the states did try to demonstrate their independence from federal rule. The state Menteri Besar would sometimes defy the Prime Minister, like what happened in Selangor once when they resisted the takeover of Putrajaya to turn it into Federal Territory.
Then what happened to this Menteri Besar? He was forced to resign due to a sex scandal. Honestly, if sex scandals are reasons to force a Menteri Besar to resign then the only Menteris Besar or Chief Ministers still in office would probably be in the Pakatan Rakyat states.
Yes, the state CEO does not defy the PM. To do so would mean you get forced out of office, if you don’t first die in a plane crash. And why do you think Dr Mahathir Mohamad appointed Ministers who are corrupt and have scandals and skeletons in their closet? Are you so stupid that I need to answer that question?
You can’t control a clean person. A tainted person can be kept in line. All Dr Mahathir had to do was to show this person the thick file he has on him or her and that person will submit to whatever the Prime Minister says.
And that was why Sabah and Sarawak got a raw deal. The CEOs you have for your two states are tainted. They can go to jail for 1,000 years if the federal government releases its dogs on the Chief Ministers of your two states.
How much is Taib worth? Tens of billions! Musa Aman is now worth more than RM1.5 billion. Some say it is double that. Whatever it is, he did not make that kind of money by skipping lunch every day.
Do you think that the CEOs of Sabah and Sarawak dare oppose the federal government? Do you think that the CEOs of Sabah and Sarawak dare fight for the rights and interests of Sabahans and Sarawakians? Do you think that the CEOS of Sabah and Sarawak have a death wish?
Hence, there would be no way you people of Sabah and Sarawak can get a better deal as long as Barisan Nasional is in power in the states. You can oust Taib and Musa Aman if you wish. But as long as the replacement is still from Barisan Nasional, then another tainted man will take the throne because only tainted people can be controlled. No way will Barisan Nasional appoint someone like Nik Aziz of Kelantan to become the Chief Minister of Sabah or Sarawak, not while your two states have so much wealth, which the federal government wants to rob.
Okay, let’s now talk about the new Federation, the Federation of Malaysia. I have explained that the Federation of Malaya was a union of 11 states under three groupings. Then, the Federation of Malaya negotiated with Sabah, Sarawak, Singapore and Brunei to form the Federation of Malaysia.
Hence the Federation of Malaysia was a new union of five nation-states — a Federation or Union of Malaya, Sabah, Sarawak, Singapore and Brunei.
Brunei did not want to join because they knew they would be swallowed up. Singapore joined but Lee Kuan Yew insisted that he become the Prime Minister of Singapore. He did not want to become the Chief Minister of Singapore like how Tunku Abdul Rahman wanted.
The Tunku was furious. Malaysia can’t have two Prime Ministers, argued the Tunku. The Tunku was the Prime Minister of Malaysia so Lee Kuan Yew has to be the Chief Minister of Singapore, not the Prime Minister of Singapore.
The solution was simple: if Lee Kuan Yew wants to become the Prime Minister of Singapore then Singapore has to leave Malaysia. Then he can even become the King or Emperor of Singapore if he wants to.
And that was why Singapore left Malaysia. Some historians say that Lee Kuan Yew purposely raised the issue of becoming the Prime Minister of Singapore because he knew that this could not be accepted and hence that would mean Singapore would have to leave or get kicked out of Malaysia.
Whatever it may be Lee Kuan Yew’s argument was that Singapore is at par with Malaya, not at par with Selangor, Perak, Johor, or whatever. This meant Singapore is above the 11 states, not just one more state of 14 states.
And would this not also apply to Sabah and Sarawak? Is Sabah the 12th state and Sarawak the 13th state of Malaysia? Or are the 11 states below Sabah and Sarawak and Sabah and Sarawak equal to Malaya?
The 11 states have Chief Police Officers. Sabah and Sarawak have Police Commissioners. And the Police Commissioner gets to fly the state flag on his official car. Does this not show that Sabah and Sarawak are above the 11 states?
Bahasa Malaysia Bibles and the use of the word Allah are banned in the 11 states of Malaya but not in Sabah and Sarawak.
The Immigration Department in Selangor, Perak, Johor, etc., cannot bar Haris Ibrahim from going to those states but he can, and in fact is, barred from entering Sabah and Sarawak.
Lawyers from Malaya can’t practice in Sabah and Sarawak unless they first obtain a permit. They do not need to do the same to practice in Selangor, Perak, Johor, etc.
So you see, Sabah and Sarawak are not equal to Selangor, Perak, Johor, etc. Sabah and Sarawak are not the 12th and 13th states of Malaysia. Sabah and Sarawak are equal to Malaya.
Can you now see where your destiny lies? Stop screaming and foaming at the mouth. It will get you nowhere. And you don’t even need to talk about getting out of Malaysia like what Singapore did. All you need to do is to vote in a state government that is independent of the federal government and you will automatically gain your independence.
My suggestion is for Sabah and Sarawak to become a third force, but one united third force (such as a North Borneo Alliance). You can, of course, enter into an electoral pact with Pakatan Rakyat if you want. In fact, this may actually be a good idea. Do what the LibDems in the UK did. They let Labour and Conservative fight it out and then they became the kingmaker.
Whether Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Rakyat forms the Federal government is not your worry. Your worry should be that Sabah and Sarawak are independent of both. Even if Pakatan Rakyat forms the federal government you still want to be free of federal domination. If you ‘belong’ to Pakatan Rakyat then you will not be too free to demand what belongs to Sabah and Sarawak.
That, in a nutshell, is my message to the voters of Sabah and Sarawak. And you better quickly get your act together because the next general election may be as early as next month and not later than June this year.

If we really want to get out of Malaysia we should call unto the British Government, the agreement is still with the British Government they have the right to support us Sarawakian peoples and Sarawak itself. the agreement is very clear that say, if Sarawak peoples are not satisfied with the Malaya Government Sarawak have the right to pull out from the federation. we hope that the Dayaks peoples should come forward and speak their mind, if we still in the federal Government what should we do all the Sarawak income are gone to the federal government not to the Sarawak state government. we want the new young Dayaks leaders to come up and speak to the Dayaks people we Dayaks have more than 30th tribes and language, but there’s only one communities that is one(1) Dayaks. for that we must be united with one voice and speak our right to the peoples and the state itself and then from there we can start to speak our intention to come out of the federation of Malaysia. with the support of the British Government than we have the right to do so. Hopefully our dream will come through that Sarawak is a Country of Borneo.
Our forefathers main purpose in the formation of Malaysia was freedom, prosperity and self rule from the British but now, there is none, we become slaves to the west Malaysian who are now the re placer of the British. Do we want to continue this situation? Not for me, there is still hope. The hope is we Sabahan n Sarawakians should unite together to achieve our long lost ambition. We must remember why we were divided, why the long period in constructing the pan Borneo road. We should now think where we went wrong n what lies ahead. The only option is unity thru United Borneo Front or UBA. I personally invite all sabahans n sarawakian to try this new political entity or also known as the third force. Let BN and PR do their part at Semenanjung and we all support our east malaysian parties that group/allied to UBA. I have a dream for us, ur family and our children future. Local parties at East Malaysia, think about it, before its too late. For right now sabah has been taken over by the foreigners. Its now or never. UBA. bila lagi kalau bukan sekarang.
No regret, no turning back, “Time and tide wait for nobody”
No dilly-dally the time has come for Sarawak to have full autonomy over their state. Enough is enough stop the intruders stealing our wealth. We dont enjoy a fair share of economy, infact we are enriching UMNO BN to stay in power. Taib has his own reason to be immortalised.
Question time…when can we CHANGE? Is there anybody out there? We are desperate and counting the days for a better future. Radical move will the next option, we are the inheritance of once feared warriors.
We DARES WIN!

Untuk penyelarasan dengan undang-undang kita, perenggan kecil (II) (a) sepatutnya menyatakan “tujuh daripada sepuluh tahun” dan bukan “lapan daripada dua belas tahun”.
